I never found anything sexy about the Ethopian famine. Same logic applies to Coulter.

I will give you credit. At least you were able to articulate a thought that is worth considering. Your points are valid, and I understand exactly what you are saying. However, I do believe that with this beyotch, it goes a little further. Do I think she's the only person to every plagiarized? No. Do I think she's the worst plagiarizer? No. Do I think she plagiarized? Yes. She can state facts and use the same sentence structure as others before her, but I find it odd that when you look at her complete works, even before Godless (which is fiction, mind you) that this woman has a tendancy to be a lazy writer who will copy other people's words rather than take the time to restructure her sentences so there is no dispute.88 wrote:Dog-
I couldn't give two shits what Ann Coulter or anyone else thinks about politics, but...
I don't get your plagarism argument in this instance. Unlike works of fiction, where the author's individual creativity determines the sentence structure and content, in non-fictional news reporting and commentary, the content is determined by the event and can only be stated in a few ways. For example, one would expect that a passage in any work that comments on Souter's views on abortion during his time as attorney general would necessarily include his memorable quotes on the subject. Most of the "plagarism" examples you cite appear to be nothing more than vanilla descriptions of news events.
I think if you are intellectually honest, you know that if you tried to describe any news event in one sentence or two, some lame ass with a lot of time and an axe to grind could find a nearly identical description of the same event somewhere. Does that make you sloppy or plagaristic?
Even copyright law, which protects the expression of ideas and such, recognizes that you cannot have copying (another name for plagarism) without access. If someone can prove that Coulter had access to the sources and relied on them during the writing of her books and columns, then you might have something. But finding similarities in news stories and commentary regarding them is kind of a weak ass argument, in my opinion. Hell, read the different articles on Novak's discussion of the Plame anti-scandal and you'll see what I mean.
(borrowed this time from Wiki)Washington first gained prominence leading troops from Virginia during the French and Indian War (1754–1763). Thanks to this experience, his military bearing, his dramatic charisma, and his political base in Virginia (the largest colony), Congress chose him as commander in chief of the American forces during the Revolutionary War.
It usually worked pretty well.Washington became known for leading troops from Virginia during the French and Indian War. Several factors, including his military success, his military bearing, his charisma and the support he had in Virgina, led to Congress choosing him as commander in chief of the American forces during the Revolutionary War.

Perk, I like you as a person which would shock many, but these are either yours or you are letting this happen. Same style, same bullshit, and a hatred for America and Israel.
You are the admin in charge, and you've denied owning these shit trolls, but come on man. This is getting out of hand dog.
WTF is going on in the province?

It's OK. Everyone knows you're complete pussies who can't argue facts so you have to make up lies about people.

Yes, I tend to lean left in my political views. But please don't call me Canadian. Those phuckers have their own problems.
