Besides, Tom, I think you're missing the point here. The point is that Hollywood is implicitly making fun of Jess, every time they hire him. Forget for the moment about those of us here on a message board, we're not the point either. The point is Jess is taking a paycheck from people who think of him as a piss mop, and they prove it with every job offer.
No grown man should be willing to do that. If he had any self respect at all he'd beat his agent unconscious with the next script given to him that has Jess playing yet another piss mop.
If jtr was smart at all, he'd be printing off every shit thread like this to market how shitty he really is for the next piss mop role.
If I'm a producer or casting director and was looking for a piss mop and someone came to me with some material like this, they'd be hired for their $50 payday on the spot.

Besides, no, I've never been made fun of in the way Hollywood makes fun of Jess. No real man would ever allow himself to be made fun of that way by his employer.
Actually, it's kind of hard to fault jess in a way. He has come to the realization that he is indeed a piss mop. Working at walmart would make him a rather poorly paid amateur piss mop.
That's really no way to go through life.

As for career longevity. He is definitely safe for a good 20+ years. There is plenty of work in hollywood for middle aged piss mops.
So, seeing as he is unlikely to get laid during that time, I would say that his financial picture should be fairly bright by then. If not, he could probably go into coaching young "talent". Not sure if that's really the right word, but, you get the idea.
As for whether we should climb aboard the already crowded wagon of jess belittling, I say, fukk yeah. Just so long as he continues to use the term "work with".
