The best are the 18 year old bulldog pierced-up angry man haters in their Geo Metros who have to have every inch of the rear of their vehicle plastered with political bumper stickers. Yeah, you're just soooooo deep, that you believe all of life's answers can be summed up in these "clever" little four word sentences slapped onto adhesives.
I liked this post. "Bumper Sticker Diplomacy" as I call it. Voicing your hatred for our current or former president on the back of your beater is such an effective way to get your message to the masses. Puh-lease. And the election was almost TWO years ago, folks......keeping that Kerry-Edwards sticker ain't gonna' get them elected. But I guess you can hold out hope. I'll admit, I had a "W" sticker on my car for about a month. Why? Oh, I don't know. Maybe it's because of the college town I live in. But it came off the day after the election. It was over. Time to move on. Now all I have is an American flag (offending to some, I guess) and a small cut-out of the state of Texas (offending to BtH....though he knows who I'll be for come October 7).

Speaking of BtH, a great rant indeed. I think my favorites are the trucks with the little kids in the shadow of a crucifix. I still don't get this one. And when I moved to Dallas 10 years ago, it was around the time that Tex-Mex singer Selena was murdered. Every other car Texas had some kind of "In loving memory" nonsense on it. A year later, I actually saw an "In loving memory.....TUPAC" for yet another dead rapper. At least Selena was was something sort of positive and had a nice rack, not a violence promoting thug. And then, perhaps the dumbest......."In loving memory.....the Intimidator....#3." Think 'ol Day-yull would want that sappy crap written on shoe polish on a back window? I guess you could emblazon your arm with a permanent "3." Hmmm....that's another subject.......
