From the sounds of it they (and the 1st teamers in particular) delivered an overall BEATDOWN to SF today.
Yeah, yeah, only the '9ers .... only pre-season.
I DO hear ya.
Still a good effort by the Silver & Black.
Brooks and Walter both did well.
The defense continues to play well.
I hear Huff left with a 'sprained ankle' though.
Fingers crossed on that.
If anyone saw the game I'd like to hear about how the O-line looked.
3-0, bitches. ;)
I'll see it tomorrow on tape.
From what Greg Papa described the Raiders offensive line looked good tonight. Picking up blitzes and solid protection.
Huff has a mild sprain according to reports so nothng serious.

I saw it . The Raider O-line looked good against a very ,very weak Niner defense .
I wouldn't put much stock in this game , since Brooks still made some bonehead mistakes against that defense .
AaWrong Brooks ain't the answer, unless the question is "Who shouldn't start in Oakland?" No wonder the Raiders like Walter so much, I'd like him too if my starter was Aaron Brooks.
Beating the 49ers is no feat. They are the most dysfunctional team in the NFL and the Raiders still looked shitty even in victory.
I had to watch the RaiderNation TV feed down here to see it . Los Angeles prep powerhouse Mater Dei has a better broadcast than that shit that comes outta Oaktown . Somebody kill Artie Gigantino NOW . He flat out sucks ass .

Should of been 17-0 but a dropped pass in the end zone from a reciever is not the QB's fault dumb ass! It went off Buchanon's hands and up in the air to the Niner defenders.
Kerry Collins and the first team were awsome last year in preseason.......PRESEASON
The Bears played a vanilla defense against the Niners when they lost. Also, the 49ers were out of sync vs. Oakland. The first fucking play could've told you that. The Raiders did nothing and the 49ers fucked themselves for a backward lateral that lost major yardage.
I guarantee the Raiders finish last, barring major injuries from either DEN, KC or SD. Beating a team devoid of talent on their worst day doesn't impress anyone but Raider fan.
Aaron Brooks throwing a dart in the endzone with zero touch whatsoever and turning the ball over was reckless and ruined a good drive. Only going up 10 points against what was an obviously atrocious team. A good team like Denver would have rolled 35 on them by the 3rd quarter, just ask the Titans, who could probably trade with Oakland for 4 quarters.
Bottom line, they did what any team could've done, and did it unspectacularly. The only thing that impressed me was the OL. Huff sitting in a zone picking off a horrible QB who can't read defenses wasn't impressive either.
It's certainly possible that Oakland will finish last this year.
Hey, they've had their shit packed for 3 straight seasons, so until they claw their way UP in the regular season .... yes, they are still the suck.
Going so far as to GUARANTEE a cellar finish for them is D U M B.
Not surprising it came from you, SucksYourName.
I will NOT forget your guarantee.
Oakland has concerns.
1. O-line
2. Middle of the D-Line
3. Depth and speed at RB
4. QB
I'm not 'fan' of Brooks, and he's got to win me over. So far I don't see it. He's an upgrade over Collins mainly because he has above average mobility. But I don't like his leadership, his body language, his ball management, his smarts, or his game management. Frankly I don't like much about him other than his deep ball.
I read an Oakland writer's article (J. McDonald) in which he made the point that Brooks and Moss appear to have no chemistry at all, and that in his time watching the team he has not one time seen the duo stay after a practice to work on things.
Not good.
I see Brooks starting the season, but if the offense is not getting in gear by say week 4 or 5 I can definitely see them tossing young Walter out there.
I am reading a lot of good things about him, and I have hopes that the kid can legitimately be the Oakland QB of the future.
