My uncle had the chance to put that cocksucker in the electric chair. He passed in favor of a life without parole sentence that meant her mother would not have to endure a trial complete with graphic descriptions of her daughter being nearly beheaded by some peice of shit wannabe Orethal looking for crack money. I've been told that is not an uncommon scenario.

I like the Prison Justice angle. Only people themselves living in hell can bring the kind of hell that this dude deserves.

A murder trial is a murder trial. I was not aware that the lawyers conduct an "R" rated version because of the penalty being sought.

The choices were a plea bargain for a life without parole sentence or a full out death penalty trial with the requisite sentencing hearing after the presumed guilty verdict. So yea, there was a big freaking difference.

B:

I respect whatever decisions your Uncle made. My sympathies to your family and all involved.

I dunno. It does nothing for the little girl.

And yeah, executing the guy does nothing for her as well, but it saves some poor prison guard from being jabbed with a screw driver

It saves somebody else from dying on the odd chance that the bastard ever gets paroled.

It saves Jimmy Meds' tax money for feeding, housing, and giving medical attention to this shithead for the next 50 or 60 years.

People say the state should not be in the business of killing people, but then they have no problem with the state running a semi-lawless, violent, grotesque home for sodomites?

Our society has laws, and yet all bets are off once somebody is incarcerated?

People, especially liberals, find the death penalty distasteful or morally wrong, and yet they don't have a problem with the violence and torture that goes on daily at the local pen?

Sorry, it makes no sense to me.

That was one hell of a sentence, but I laughed out loud.

There's a guy doing life in a Florida prison for killing a cousin of mine. I could give a shit what happens to him as long as he never breathes as a free man ever again in his life. But I damn sure am not going to praise a guy who brobbed, stole or raped his way into the correctional facility for dropping a shank into him either.
Ahh, so there is the truth behind the matter. I am sorry for your loss.

But here is my question, wouldn't you be somewhat happy if one of the other inmates in that Florida prison but an end to that guy? Or tattooed your cousins name on his forehead?

That link didn't work, want to repost?

It wouldn't mean a damn thing to me. He was nothing to me before he killed her, and he's still nothing to me. If shanking him would bring her back, then I would be down with it. Otherwise, it's all the same to me.

-which 'aint worth the powder to blow it to hell.

Update on the story...
Just saw this on local news:

Guards fired over inmate tattoo
Two officers have been fired at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility after allegedly posting an ''unauthorized'' photo of Anthony Ray Stockelman online. Stockelman had ''Katie's Revenge'' tattooed across his forehead. Another inmate has been identified as a suspect in the tattooing. Stockelman is in prison for murdering and molesting Katie Collman, 10, of Crothersville. News 8 will have updates at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.

You've identified a problem. How do you propose we deal with it?

Not flaming, just asking.

Kinda jumping in here at the tail end of the discussion, but being a hick...err....a Hoosier native, I thought I'd drop my two pennies in the jar. Someone stated earlier that rapists and child molesters were considered worst of the worst, even on the inside. This is true. Unfortunately I had a cousin that spent a very long time on the inside, and some of the horror stories he shared with me after his release literally made my stomach churn. This was when I was in my late teens, and to say I was a little naive would have been a huge understatement.

My baby girl turns 9 later on next month. She is just about my everything, and if something like this were to happen to her, going on wouldn't be much of an option. Having a person to hold accountable for such an evil act, I definitely wouldn't be able to function day to day, knowing this gutter trash was still sharing the same air.
They say that revenge isn't worth it, that it doesn't give the grieving heart what it truly desires (the return of the loved one who was taken away); even that it would do more harm than good in the long run....I still don't know what army could prevent me from completing my task, once I started in on this (figurative) man. No, I wouldn't find inner peace; I wouldn't feel justice had been served. But, even knowing all this in advance, I still don't think the outcome would be any different.

Do I give them props for scribing her name on his forehead as a life long scarlet letter...maybe; maybe not.....it's not my place to judge. Do I understand it......Fucking right I do. They may have to reprimand these individuals for their actions, but I highly doubt that there are that many Brians out there that would blame them, or hold it against them. B, more often than not, I interpret what you say as more of a troll job, trying to get the average everyday Joe to take a moment to stop and really think about the world going on around them; for this purpose, you are invaluable.

Close, Tiny, but not quite. More likely that Brian is trolling for reactions, just trying to piss people off. Kind of like mvscal and his n-bombs. They are like twin brothers of different mothers.
