Bill Frist should be shot in the face...and then that rule that allows this kind of shit needs to be changed.

I wouldn't give a damn for the leadership on either side of the aisle. It's not like the Dems gave a damn about upholding their constituents liberties as they allowed this to happen.

Of course they use it too, so they aren't interested in stopping it.

All it would take is one honest member of Congress to propose this rule change. I would like to see the rest of those fucks take that 'no' vote back home and explain it to their constituents.

Here's how it would go.

2/3s of the Members are in safe seats that the other party wouldn't dare mount anything more than a token challenge against. The ones in contested districts vote aye, the rest vote nay and the motion is rejected. And not a one of them have to answer for it.
