It was actually a guy who gives advice on NFL gambling. That was one of his stats he used to make his prediction.
...so he's picking K.C.??

He's taking KC plus the 5.5

..on paper it looks like a good bet...but I'm still going with the Bolts and a fairly easy win.

here's some others.....
since their inception, no quarterback named rivers has ever won a 1:00 start time game in Kansas City on October 22......
since their inception, no running back named Tomlinson has ever run for 100+ yards at Arrowhead on October 22.......
since their inception, no tight-end named gates has caught multiple touchdown passes in Arrowhead on October 22
when one considers these historic facts, one could surmise that things don't bode well for Blot fan.......

You can't compare any college environment to an AFC West divisional game, can you?
Insofar as the screaming fans are concerned, yes I can. Plenty of college stadiums are as loud, or louder than Arrowhead.

He's got a legitimate point.
Obviously, I've never been to a game in Eugene and have read nothing but tales of what a great atmosphere it is ... but ...
I was in Memorial Stadium, in Norman, in 2000, when a No. 1-ranked Nebraska came to town. OU at the time was ranked No. 3. It couldn't be any bigger of a game and the stadium was absolutely electric.
That being said, it couldn't hold a candle to any of the NFL games I've seen at Arrowhead, both in terms of crowd noise and the overall fanatic non-stop crowd noise factor. It literally gets so loud in there at times you have to scream to the person next to you in order to communicate anything.

Well, that's your whole problem right there. It has nothing to do with the Queefs or football. With everybody in the stadium screaming to the person next to them at the top of their lungs, how is anybody ever going to hear anything?

Sure, I'm in.
I lost a sig bet on the Pads - Cards series (when was that, like 3 or 4 months ago?) but Adelpiero never came around to collect.
Oh well.

Try Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge. I'm sure everyone in here can come up with some nearby stadium that's as loud as Arrowhead. Get over yourself KC fan, Arrowhead, Im sure has quality atmosphere, geez, just like many other stadiums pro and college. Its only a big deal to Cheif fan. It sure hasn't worked for the Chiefs, has it??

Not unless you want to go about 900 miles or so, between the two.

Cheif fan going to the "Arrowhead is electric" card already. Is the season lost already?
Try Bama vs Auburn crowd.
Try Florida vs Georgia crowd
I'm sure a Chief - Raider game crowd is no better "atmosphere" than those games listed above. Hell, at least their playing for something. My guess is a storied college rivalry between two winning programs is at least a good a crowd as two tired old tattered AFC West franchises that have been left in the dust by their other division rivals. Just a guess..

Yea....... Ummmm Home Field....... uh Marty jinx ..... uhh .... running angry.
OK, Chiefs will be fired up, pissed off and all that other highly motivational stuff after the ass kicking in Pitt last week.
That's great except for the fact that the Chargers have a dominant front 7 on defense, and so far we have not run the ball on less than stellar defenses.
I take KC and the points, but the Bolts win this 17-13

So much fodder in this here thread, it was tough to zero in on any one post, but I chose this little ditty.

Any of you wanks who think this game is going to be "close" are in for a rude awakening come Sunday!
You know what, C-panties? You were right.
It
shouldn't have been a close game. KC should have won by a lot more.
Here's your sig, bro.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I must be the most naive sucker on the left coast.
Not only did I dis-regard the past 10 years of the Charger's getting their clocks cleaned at
ARROWHEAD stadium, I left Alge Crumpler and his 35 points sitting on the bench in favor of some chump named George Wrighster.
I know next to nothing about football, and Wags is my daddy.

Enjoy!
