Nobody is saying it's going to be ready next week or even in five years. It will be ready when it's ready and I don't flying fuck how much it costs.
which part of IT WON'T FUCKING WORK are you missing here.....

the sad fact is that countermeasures have always been the sticking point to why the system simply won't work.....

the Russians, Chinese, and N. Koreans already possess the technology to thwart the system that we can't (and in all likelyhood will never) produce.......and it's cheap comparatively speaking....

so now what.......

I'm assuming you're passing on the bet.....

I think they might need you on the team Felix. Perhaps these so called "experts" and engineers just don't possess the knowledge you have and need to be educated as to why "it won't fucking work". You are needed.

Let me know if I can help. Letter writing campaign, your own website, whatever.

Tom, I've said it before but you may have missed it......

my understanding of the NMD system is based largely on discussions with my brother, who's a propulsion systems engineer for Honeywell.....

Hell, from everything I've read about it, all of the tests have been absolute failures and they apparently aren't anywhere close to getting it working under the best of conditions, so Felix isn't off on that part.

If you wish to bankrupt your children's future trying to hit a bullet with another bullet, I say "go for it".

The weaker your nation is as a whole, the better off the rest of the planet will be.

I think Reagan said something along those lines...

...in the 80's.

Yeah after all YOUR King and Queen did to, I mean for, or is both ? In the world.

Your constant crying and misplaced, misinformed blame is really lame Marty.

you know you say that about every fucking program anybody objects to....."it's nothing comparatively speaking"....but when you start to add it all up it gets pretty fucking expensive pretty fast......

marty's right, it's exactly like hitting a bullet with a bullet....only thing is, when they deploy an interceptor, the incoming missile will deploy what seems like about a hundred bullets......the interceptor is going to have to pick one......

or, they can shield the warhead with liquid nitrogen so that it's all but invisible to tracking radar..........there are a hundred ways to defeat this white elephant....

that of course assumes that some rogue country or band of terrorists with ICBM capabilities decides to launch a nuclear strike against the United States and they must not care if they live or die.......

no G I A N T S T R E T C H of the imagination there......

Quickly, someone contact the KPA and tell them to arm their rockets and fire them inland when putting on a show.

"TODAY! Our Glorious Leader's Taepodong missiles sputter half-way to their intended targets and spiral helplessly into the ocean with
a fizzle...JUST AS WE PLANNED ALL ALONG! HOORAY!"

Sounds like 'spread of missile technology' is the new fancy way of saying 'missile sales'.

As usual, babs is lock-stepped into blindly supporting whatever collossal cost is incurred in funding...Star Wars?

Hey...pssst...Ours is a "debt" economy. Biggest one of all time. We can't afford trillions when the Enemy is spending ten dollars on a box cutter. We can't afford the Quagmire in Iraq. You are a ridiculous jibbering quack. And Reagan was senile while in office. Gee, I see a pretty clear connection between you two.
