I'd like to point out that the Pitt cheerleaders are not indicative of the talent that thrives on the Pitt campus. Oakland crawls with hotties...but none of them apparently chose to become cheerleaders...

I had to say something. UCLA cheerleaders elicit the expected wow factor. If you're going to be a cheerleader, then shit - be a hottie, at least. Homely girls are usually to be seen in droves holding water bottles, clipboards, handing towels to players...not in miniskirts shaking pom-poms. What in blood-streaked hell is that all about?

Seems like as good as time as any to state that Mizzou's golden girls are the hottest gals on the planet and have been for like, forever. I'm sure adel can testify.
So, at least we have that going for us, which is nice

i know this will end badly, but the year UO had Ridnour and Luke Jackson the Duck cheerleaders were sick-hot.

Some good action last night. That ATM/Memphis game was the thriller I was expecting and it didn't disappoint in the least. I was surprised to see SIU give KU as much trouble as they did. The UCLA/Pitt game was a snoozer mainly because Pitt sucks rhino cack. And then of course the monster comeback by tO$U in the second half against UT was epoch.
Looking for more good games tonight.

First off, to keep the folklore accurate -- that was Freddy Jones' team. You know...Freddy Jones of Portland Trailblazers fame. (Nope...not excited about having Freddy back home or anything...well, not as excited as Freddy is, anyway).
And U
of O always has the finest talent known to mankind at the cheerleading position. They may not always pull down the 5-stars in football or hoops, but the entrance requirements to become a cheerleader are among the nation's highest. See also -- USC, UCLA, Arizona.
And I hear that UNLV is going to employ their bread-and-butter, the halfcourt trap, against U of O. To this, I say: Good luck with that. If anyone was itching to see a team go off for 150 in the tourney, tonight is the night. I reallyreally don't see that ending well for UNLV. I think the name Tajuan Porter will haunt them the entire offseason, once they realize they just tried to halfcourt trap a 5'6" guy who takes particular delight in dropping threes off the break...and he's hitting them at something like a 55% clip for the tourney(with most of the misses coming in the halfcourt set, often against the shot clock).
UNLV has been a good defensive team...but that ends tonight. While UNLV may make a game of it, I'd say it's more likely that we see yet another postseason blowout by the Ducks.

Shaq was quicker, bigger and stronger than Oden. He developed a little jump hook. HIs spin move to the baseline was almost unstoppable in his prime.

if Shaq could get his butt on you in the paint, it was all over.

he is just very unpolished...just my opinion...

Did anyone see how scared the UNLV players started acting when TP would get the ball? It was awesome! It was like a scene out of some movie where's there some little fucker like a gremlin or a chucky or something running around fuckin everyone up.

So sorry, but the nickname TP is taken....by another dude who was quite famous for dropping 3's all over the U&L.
And the announcers with the "his nickname is Mighty Mouse"....there's another three-point shooting midget from the U&L that played in the PAC10 who has gone by that name for over a decade now. He even has Mighty Mouse tattooed on his freaking arm.
No need to go all Chargerfan up in it. Nor should he be called Tiny Tajuan Archibald, and I thin Magic Porter might be a copyright infringement, too.
Florida better bring their A-game.

Y'all don't have much size, so make it a track meet. Don't go SuC and tire out in the 2nd half and get out boarded 2:1.....
Hairston has enuf gangsta in him to go for Noah's knees. This would help.
Don't embarrass yourself or the league out there.

Worked pretty well against UCLA, eh?
Just need more of Tajuan "The Microwave" Porter going on 17-2 runs
by himself...like last night.
As for the thugging -- Joevan "Fat"ron comes off the bench, and he's got some butt to him...he's the guy to deNoahfy the Gates.

Love seeing two traditional powers meet up in a game like this and a great contrast of styles...a defensive grind-it-out team in UCLA vs. an aesthetically pleasing offensive machine in Kansas. I think the Jayhawks have too many weapons and is too balanced...I like them to win this one even though I have the Bruins in my Final Four. UCLA has played some ugly ball up to this point.

Gotta hand it to the Bruins...muddying up the game and the Jayhawks can't make simple baskets.

Bravo Bruins...very nice win. Active defenders on the inside and great outside shooting lead by Afflalo...another talented Kansas team comes up short in March.

Wow, what a defensive game. It seemed like everytime Kansas dribble penetrated, UCLA got a steal or a block. Those couple three-pointers as the shot clock expired certainly didn't hurt the Bruins either.

pretty impressive. the Bruins also had KU trying to start their O way outside where they normally try and set screens up on either side of the top of the arc.

That had to be one of the more one-sided OTs we've seen in a while. The Hoyas finished the game on a 31-9 run...Oden vs. Hibbert next Saturday, should be awesome. It's great to see Georgetown back among the elite programs after some lean years. This'll be a great Final Four with four bruising teams but also feature some slick guard play. The bigs will be the stars next weekend though.

In the T1B Yahoo pool, 6 guys nailed the Final Four...props to them. All four teams are picked by at least one person to win the whole thing so that'll be interesting to watch. I've still got my champ alive in Florida but I'm definitely out of the mix. I had every game in the West right except Kentucky-Villanova. The Midwest and the South were a mess. Eh, it's all in good fun...
