I don't mind being called out for an spelling error or misused word or bad information...I'm not perfect and I'll laugh at most mistakes because usually it's something stupid. I do get the feeling that some posters here like to call out the "runts" of the group on any little mistake just because they seem to get a hard-on whenever they show their so-called superiority. In the grand scheme of things, being corrected for grammar or for my choice of words in post on a message board doesn't exactly rank that high on my list of concerns.
