Also, isn't Floriduh's arena like only 12k? Rupp is 20k and has sold out for 20 something years. Saying Floriduh is on par with Kenfucky as a destination job is laughabale at best. Putting them in the same sentence is just as laughable.

Rivals has UF's incoming class at #5.....with a five star and 3-4 stars again with Patterson yet to decide.
Billy D has 4 sweet 16's, THREE final fours and a national championship.....in 11 years. I'm not saying he's a legend but at 42 years old......he's getting there regardless of what any of you say.
PS Billy D, Dean Smith, and Bobby Knight are the ONLY people ever to play in a final four and win a national championship. Donovan is the SECOND youngest coach to win it all(behind Knight).
Yeah, he is a long ways from anything....

i mean i post that scout has UF at #9 and fuck right back with well Rivals...I mean i posted as information...fuck geez...right away when someone posts just informaton...not bashing you go off...
can't anyone else have an opinion other than the corporate line?

Florida is not the deep south. The deep south is in Georgia, Bama, S Car, Kentucky and Mississippi.
Florida has it's backwoods parts, Gainesville included, but I wouldnt categorize it as "Southern."

No, Florida isn't "southern" but the more inward you get from the water, the more deep south-like it becomes.

Says the guy from the midwest to the guy LIVING in Florida.
As a resident I can tell you the Florida is nothing like the deep south. Cicero is correct. In fact there is a saying down here...the further north you go in Florida the more south you are. They refer to Jacksonville as South Georgia. It has little to do with proximity to the water. Gainsville is near the middle of the state and is nothing like the deep south. Only the deep south is like the deep south. Only in the deep south do they deep fry tic-tacs.

Mind if I use your Master's in Geography from Duke to wipe my ass for a minute?
Deep South "definites" are SC, GA, AL, and MS. Tennessee is a "maybe"... or "sometimes." Kentucky is a "border state" north of a "maybe" and you're trying to include them with the "definites"?
Thanks....

I lived there for 12 years, asswipe. I think that's enough time to have
observed a few things.

Look at the toughie with the name-calling
If you lived here then you know you're wrong. I don't know when you were here but you may know that Florida is one of the fastest growing states. Most people here are not from here. The deep-south is where families live for generations on end. You know home of Fried catfish, grits and the stars and bars.

So, see if I've got this right...
People are arguing over which is a bigger bunch of inbred fucked up rednecks -- those from Florida, or those from the "real" south.
As a neutral observer on the other side of the country, I'll settle this argument for you guys....

As usual you did not get it right, but it doesn't stop you from pretending to be the authority on what you know nothing of.
Stick to heroin, timber, and grunge. When we need any info on things from your region we'll ask. Until then, shut your soup cooler.

Square-drives aren't a U&L thing...they're a common sense thing.

All 12 of them are inbreds. But that's a different region of the country, so it's inconsequential.
