No I didn't miss that, it just wasn't the answer. He wanted the result of the essay.
TiCs answer might have been more accurate than mine. have to wait for OC judgement day.

The result was mellon was accused of cheating. The professors opinion of the paper is just an extension of that result.

Actually, you're both correct, since a complete answer would have both parts. That's why I said, "What was the result...?" and not "What was the grade...?"
