i could link to many of the weeks of betting nfl and college football and how poorly i did on several weeks. i went from up almost a grand after the first weeks to owing almost 2G's. no biggie, i beat fairmount out of 2K the last month and put the money away in a envelope for football season, i knew i would eventually take a beating one week, i love action, and betting 25-35 games saturday, plus the card sunday(fools bets).
i don't bet to break even. and most of the time, especially betting pro sports, i lose. for all of the great bets i made last year in vegas on ncaa basketball, i had that many more losing bets to counter. luckily i had 2 good days betting horses in sports book and a night at the texas holdem table game that my whole trip only cost me 1K(hotel, flight, food, etc).
i only play with $100 at casino playing holdem. it's a 4/8 limit game. i can honestly say, after 2 years of oof and on playing, i am up about 200, nothing to brag about, i mainly played to kill sunday afternoons or to take a stab at the bad beat pot(175K). I would rather play live tourney games.
I tried online poker, bought in for $100, won 350 in 15 minutes, then lost all of it the next hour. I stil ldont trust online poker and the miraculous flops and rivers
Plus too many people with prrof of being screwed online, so they can keep my 100.
