Was that hip hop?
No, those were either rich people or people who got tickets from their company/company's suppliers. Since we can assume that most of them then had good jobs, that kinda eliminates hood rats from the list of potential Artest victims. It also probably explains why nobody busted a cap into Artest when he went apeshit.

BTW: Why the fuck do you think Stern dropped half year suspension on Artest? He knows where the money is. It's right there with the rich white guy who drives to work pumping old NWA jams in his new Lexus.

Everyone needs to be taken to task.
Exactly Annie,

The NBA refuses to apply any standards whatsoever that the majority of all businesses consider essential in being seen as Professional to potential clients. They lure young Black Men who possess only one simple skill they can excel into a big corporate money world they can't come close to understanding and ignore any level of maturity, education, off the job criminal conduct and a variety of social dysfunctions that come with the excuses and lack of accountibility the Black community accepts from their "mentors." Instead of trying to rectify the problem of "Father Figures" their leaders ignore the fact that so many of them are incarcerated. Colleges refuse to set 4 year minimum scholarship standards that carry a monetary penalty when their players leave early to get into the NBA draft because fast fan money is better than no money at all. and it just gets worse from there. To break it down the average NBA player was....

raised in a Community that ignores accountibility
went to Public Schools that ignored accountibility
got a College "Free Pass" with no accountibility
signed with an agent that ignores accountibility
works for a Business that ignores accountibility

and
Plays for a League that ignores accountibility in front of fans who don't give a shit as long as you can dribble, shoot and jump.........................

Now what's right about that picture?

It isn't to hard to understand why the NBA sucks.

Jabbar, Jordan, Johnson, Bird, Chamberlain and all the past greats of the game have Diploma's and college degree's.
and the game was played by "Pro's."

People don't watch the NBA anymore because the league is infested with street monkey thugs that are too lazy to learn to shoot, pass, and dribble when they can shoot a gun, buy some hooch, and suck on a pacifier for 8 mil a year instead. Bad calls have always been there. Street monks like Carmelo, Artest, and Iverson haven't.
There's room on the Spurs' bus for ya, bro. :D

I guess they're "quiet" and "boring" because dudes aren't arrested every other month for shootings, sexual assaults or beating up their girlfriends, or even worse, making hip-hop "recordings" and going on national television and radio shows only to make asses of themselves by illustrating an utter lack of education in a myriad of ways -- including, but not limited to -- complaining about being "dissed" in contract disputes that should remain private, or how they can "understand" the gang culture. When it comes to the Spurs, and a very few other teams ('sup Phx?) all of that shit is almost laughable.

Btw, if this refs' gambling allegation is true and widespread, it has the potential to make every other major sports story in decades seem like nothing. The repercussions would go far beyond the NBA.

I knew the owner of a fairly upscale pool hall -- if it's possible for a pool hall to be upscale, but this was a pretty nice place -- in OKC who was absolutely convinced, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that all pro games are fixed. My dad and I used to listen to this guy tell us stories about Vegas and his long explanations about how "they" come up with point spreads and how there's this elaborate network of the fix being in on every level and how it the trickles down into the leagues ... maybe dude wasn't as bat-shit crazy as we thought.

^^Rack, RF and that jpg.

A few years before the Jailblazers began, Portland had a similar type of poster, which I think came out in the early '90s. Dins could isolate it better as he's a better student of the game. However, I think the Blazers had a photo that showed the following: Buck Williams, Clyde Drexler, Terry Porter, Jerome Kersey and I think Kevin Duckworth. I believe the caption on the poster said something like, " Uh Oh."

That Blazers team went to the finals, but typically either lost to Jordan and the Bulls, or lost in the Western Conf. finals against people with the names of Magic, Worthy, and such.

Great poster times...I'm looking forward to more posters from Portland as all the criminals are gone. Yeah, we still have Arius (no D in that name) but he's got his thumb out for a ride as we speak. All the shitfucks are gone...Qyntel Woods, JR Rider, Bonzi, Rasheed, Damon Spliffamire, Shawn the "Baby Maker" Kemp, and others.

Finally, we ain't the Jailblazers anymore. We took all the shit the world threw out, and we deserved it all. Look ahead and you might see a poster soon that might include Greg Oden, rookie of the year Brandon Roy, and LaMarcus Aldridge. We got so many young guys now that season ticket sales have gone out the roof. Shit, I even bought some astronaut diapers in case of overtime games this year.

Sure, some are too young to have any college degrees but at least they don't have any parole officers.
