I stopped riding motorcycles over 20 years ago. Lately, I’ve been thinking about getting back on one. Now, I guess not.

Good luck, Mike. As to the nurse checking out your “goods”, have you even seen them since the accident? What with your neck being all fused and stuff? Maybe your little willie is horrible disfigured. Did you ever think of that? Good thing you’re not the paranoid type.

Every now and then a T&P thread involving one of our own comes down the pike and I drop a post I hope is appropriate. Then I get to thinking about the off board relatives and friends I haven't connected with in a while and wonder what's going on with them. Then I remember why I haven't seen 'em in a while.

Wait, this is about ChargerMike... doh!

Get better, homey!

Oh and Kristina, Don't buy the motorcycle accident excuse. CM's just lucky he didn't wind up like Randall's cousin Walter.

Mission accomplished, eh?

Seems he got a good smattering of everything he knows and loves about T1B and his online acquaintenances.

Yes, print these pages and thrust them in his face. They are sure to crack a smile.

ChargerMike and I are two different people. Tell me you knew...
Other you?

Karma to ChargerMike and his family, can't say I "know" him but certainly know of him from time wasters like this place.

Speedy recovery to Evil CheMikel and props to Kristina for the update.

midlife crisis? evel knievel had his mid life crisises (how the fukk do you pluralize that dins?) sometime during reagan's first term. this is well into crazy old coot fuckup territory. A few years from now, you'll be reading about how the throttle stuck in his park avenue and he ran down 42 raider fans at a bus stop. Charger fans, for the most part, have their own wheels.

As for CM, assuming this is not the best troll job since ltl2, as a fellow motorcyclist, all I can say is, better you than me.

WTF were you thinking? Leave the triple jumps to the kids that still have flexible cartillage. I was actually pondering getting rid of the FJ for some sort of dual purpose rig, probably a klr650. Maybe I should reconsider.

I hope you heal soon......but not before lil kristina puts up them titty pics.

Mid life crisis at 65?

Maybe if he's related to Jeanne Calment.

OK, I guess I need to explain things a little better.

When I've repeatedly suggested that all Chargerfans should "fucking kill yourselves," I didn't mean that literally. It's something of a... a... a "smackboard allegory," if you will.

By "kill yourself," I actually meant "penetrate yourself with a rather large marital aid," or even "shut the living hell up, you babbling douche"... you know, something along those lines. Not actually "kill yourself."

Apologies for clearing this up a little late.

Thank goodness we have Jerkovich here. I was beginning to lose faith in you guys. When a young thing with a female name shows up in her father's stead and no one asks her to show us her tits, I thought you fellas were starting to go soft. RACK Jerkovich for restoring my confidence in this board even though it took 15 or so posts to get there.

Oh yeah, motorcycling is not for the faint hearted nor old. I'm feelin' ya there, Charger. I accidentally laid my 'Zuke down a couple of months ago and it took me eight weeks just to get the swelling down on my knee-- and I'm only 45. I can't imagine going ass over tea kettle and busting my neck at 65. Ouch. Here's to wishing you a (more) speedy recovery.

Damn guys, take it easy on me will ya.....I waz just trying to make the old fella feel a little better, ya know.....humoring him. ALOT!!!

I mean, I guess I could have broken out with the: "Darn it CM, not like we didn't already know you weren't the "reasoning it through" type, when we saw that you were a Chargers fan in the first place, but did you have to go out and prove it all over again, with the entry into the Kamikaze dirtbike brigade?" But really, I'm not like that; I can overlook his faults (Charger faithful), and his dillusions of grandeur (YEE HAAAWWWWW!!!!!!).

Really Mike, what WERE you thinking?

Update on Chargermike

Just wanted to let all of you know that my dad is doing very well. He is walking around, taking showers, and feeding himself. He is making exceptional progress. He has also managed to have the entire nursing staff eating out of his hand because little did I know by my dad is a shameless flirt. SHAMELESS. I was sitting there listening to him and I couldn’t believe my ears…..”Oh honey your going to have to come closer so I can see your pretty face,” He has nurses walking down to Starbucks to get him an Americano.

Amazing….

So yes, a lot has improved since July 20th. I wanted to say thanks to all of you for bringing a smile to my dads face. He has been giving me a little history on all of you who posted.

He wanted me to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers (however sick and twisted some of them were).

He has about one week left in the hospital and then he will be sent home. At which time he will promptly fire up his computer and start typing away.

“RIP P-rox…Sorry I missed you this time….uhh wait … no Im not”

That already puts him ahead of RtS and Jsc.

Glad to hear it.

I guess since he'll be home and typing away, he'll be able to make the JFFL online draft on Aug 27th? Football season just wouldn't feel right without his 1,000 trade requests in my email box.

I haven't read the board for over a week, so...sorry to be late on this.

Kristina, thanks so much for letting everyone know what happened! Tell your dad he's not enough of an old fart yet to fall over on a motorcycle and leave us. He is truly one of the good folks on this board, and obviously raised a good kid as well. Let him know he will get major shit when, not if, he gets back to the board.

Thoughts and prayers to C-Mike and your family.

Uhm...I seem to remember reading something about a "dirtbike" and a "track." If there was a bus involved, I'm thinking Mike and Kristina just hit the freaking lottery.

For myself, I've been off streetbikes for a few years now. Until not too long ago, I owned at least one my whole adult life. And as far as skin loss -- seems like you folks in the nasty-hot South are kinda fucked. Everyone of my aging buddies who still gets after it rarely leaves the house without the "turtle armor." And if it's over 90 degrees, they don't seem to dig sweating to death. And they seem to get most of their yayas on Track Day.

Yeah. Some turd sent it to me 'cause I ride. I don't know why people feel compelled to tell riders about wrecks, deaths, skin-loss, etc.,
Same reason why non-smokers send pictures of burned out lungs to smokers.

I hope Mike is doing better.

I sold my dirt bikes a few years ago and was considering getting a new Honda CRF250R until I read what happened. I have been on most of the race tracks in the Valley and they are physically demanding. The young kids flying over your head on the triples scare me.

Hope all is good Mike.

Here's to a speedy recovery Mike!

I hope too see you at the Annual Jackass Charger/Raider game this year...and talk about the stupid things we've done in our crazy lives. This one has to rank up there! I understand the need to relive the past sometimes...but damn it I get to thinking about getting another bike, then shit like this happens.

Get well soon!

Thanks, Kristina for the medical update.
