By getting rid of Marty the Bolts guaranteed they wouldn't underachieve in the playoffs this year.

it's one thing to pick your chiefs on a homer pick, but you actually picked SD to win, and now come in thumping your obese chest? Man, you scream down syndrome

Hey dipshit, I wasn't talking about my pick of the game winner....I was talking about what I said all along about how Marty SHOULD NOT have been fired.

Try to keep up, Junior.

This is the point PERHAPS where Charger fan realizes what's up. When you hired that assclown you thought it was okay, because you knew nothing about him. You thought he was a pretty good coordinator who was just in the wrong place at the wrong time as a head coach and could easily steer this team to the Super Bowl because it's so talented. Do you believe in the Norv magic act now?

This is only the surface of the frustration this guy is going to cause you guys. Sit back and make sure Home Depot has plenty of shower rods in stock, because it only gets worse. Trust me.

Hmmm, could be.

OR, it will probably come down to a couple of LT TD passes to Gates. We've NEVER seen that before here.

Bolts- 17
Chiefs- 3

Nice prediction douchebag. Now you're in here thumping your chest? Unfuckin' believable.......or not.

Props on the win to the real Chief fans.

Norv SUCKS as do the Chargers.

Werd. No way I expected the 4th qtr. beatdown that KC laid on the Blots. I knew it would be close until the 4th, though.
Bowe is starting to show that he was a legit first round draft pick. Dude has made some sick catches on some poorly thrown balls. They need to throw more balls his way and let him go get 'em. T-Gon is still T-Gon, and will get his.
Too bad they can't learn how to do that in the first half.

Honestly, the way that first half went, I didn't even think they were going to show up for the 2nd. It looked like they were sleepwalking out there.
As previously stated, the Chiefs D is greatly improved.

Any believers now?

As much as I'd like too, I can't run smack on SD because even I didn't really believe they could go out there and come back with a W. But despite my lack of faith, they're now tied for first place after 3 of the 1st four being on the road and coming back home to the friendly confines of Arrowhead.

Yes, Chiefsfan is liking very much where we find ourselves at this juncture.

This is true.

What will happen is that Norv will manage to 'coach' the Blots to a couple of wins in a row and the fans will gain a false
sense that .... "well shoot, he's really not that bad as an NFL head coach."

It'll be right then that the bottom will fall out entirely and he'll 'coach' the team to a 4 or 5 game losing streak.

If SD goes .500 this year it'll be a miracle.

As poor as KC is, 2-2 has to feel pretty good right now, but truth be told, the Blots GAVE you the game.
Your defense is alright, Wagon.
Middle of the pack.
No great shakes.
And your offense will struggle to score points all year.
You still can't run the ball.
This will be a year-long problem.
And you're not gonna have brain-dead teams handing games over to you all year.

Zero props to Paul for churning his gums over the win in the very same thread he called for his team to absorb a 2
TD defeat.

24 unanswered points in the second half?

Granted, I didn't get to see the game, as I was at work, and the assinine local CBS affiliate program director decided to give us Jim Faggot Nance and the joke that was Denver vs. Indy (but hey, Nancy and Phil Simms are CBS' No. 1 team, right Wags?). Boy, that sure was exciting, especially that last 8 minutes of game time -- 30-40 minutes in real time. Thanks, idiot. I mean, it's not like there are any Chief fans in Tulsa. Fucking Jackass.

LJ is going to have a breakout game. But you're right, unless KC can find another receiver, teams are going to continue to key on him.

Btw, nice win for the silver and black. Shit, if you and R.J. weren't such decent dudes, I'd have to go take a shower after typing that.

Uhhh.........

Not sure if what we saw was good Chiefs or just very bad boltsssssssss.

For sure Norvulous is one of the dumbest coaches I've ever seen.
Had he opened the 2nd half running (which seemed to work pretty well in the first half) I think we have a different result.

But........ you asked about the Chefs future, so let's take a look based on the schedule:

vs. Jax
vs. Cinn
@ Oak
bye
vs. GB
vs. Den
@ Ind
vs. Oak
vs. SD
@ Den
vs. Tenn
@ Det
@ NYJ

Well........ errr.... I only see a couple of sure loses - at Denver and at Indy
Wins vs. Oak (2), vs. SD & @ NYJ
those that could go either way - Jax, Cinn, GB , Den & Tenn all at home - and at Detroit

Maybe 9-7 or 10-6?

If we somehow remember how to run the ball?
I'll wait a couple more weeks to hope on the Hermwagon - if we get past Jax and Cinn, then I'll get the guns out.

You'll split the next 2 home games and then lose at Oakland.

3-4 at that point, and looking up at a couple of division teams.

Not coming up roses.

LJ will labor HARD to get his yards this year.

So hard, in fact, Sharpton and Jackson may protest.

I knew that would get your face out of the Kimchee.

I watched the 'Duh game and just like you can't judge the Cheifs beatdown of the most talented (on paper) team in SD,
You also can't write much about Oakland whooping a fish team minus Zach Thomas and with all the enthusiasm of Paul's mom on mother's day.
Yes, the 'Duhs ran the ball - but aside from Jason Taylor the fish are defenseless (31 to the Jets?? - 37 to the Cowboys, I sorta understand)
so you may wanna temper that myopia just a bit.

It will be fun however, finally running some smack with you and the duh's having something more than a snowball's chance of winning

Just one question, Scott.

What u got to say about D. Bowe now?

Posted: Tue Oct 02, 2007 2:05 am
by poptart
Oakland's rushing totals for each game so far:

92 yds
200 yds
186 yds
299 yds

Yeah, they'll run for fun on KC too.

Oakland needs to get more from the passing game.
This'll come around some as Culpepper gets more sure-footed in the offense.

The bye week came at a good time for the Raiders.
More time for Culpepper, some guys are dinged, and opportunity to prepare well for upcoming division games v. SD and KC.

Coming in to play at Oakland won't be any picnic for KC, that's for damn sure.

What can I say? Turning out much better than I thought obviously.

Remembering 2 things:
1. when we made the pick - We really, really needed (and continue) to get a stud OL (sup' Joe Staley?)
2. he looked like shit in training camp ('sup HBO?)

So now he kinda looks like TO and he's got the ghetto to hero story thing going:

I'll eat the crow on that call

Chiefs are ranked 19th against the run right now. Yeah, the 'Duhs MIGHT get 100+yards on the ground on us, but since we're the 3rd OVERALL best defense in the NFL right now that means that our pass defense is superb- in fact, it's ranked 5th best, so we should be more than able to contain Bubble Butt through the air.

Can't wait for the annual Raydah BEATDOWN, that's for sure.

When you're four games into the season and 25% of your games are one in which you got steamrolled v. the run,
yeah, rankings like that'll happen.

Combination of bad run defense v. good running team.

Sure, it remains to be seen if Oakland can run v. a really stout run defense.
Is KC that?

I'm frankly more concerned with Oakland's defense than I am with their ability to run the ball.
They're giving up too many big plays and they're not getting enough pressure on the QB.

If the defense doesn't step up it's play the Raiders will once again be also-rans in the West.
