Herm said in the post-game interview room that the three points wouldn't have done any good.
Ummmmm ..........

Obviously laughable, since a FG there would have tied the game.
And it's not like the Raiders are an offensive juggernaut who would have then definitely driven the field to break the tie.

I think Herm tossed his bullshit answer out there to deflect from publicly expressing his lack of confidence in D. Rayner.

Edwards so badly butchered that whole scenario that I almost felt sorry for the guy.
Burned two timeouts, stalled momentum, and then watched as his short-yardage play got stuffed by a BAD D-Line.

Long live Herm Edwards as KC coach.

Yet they were able to stop them on 4th and 1 when it mattered most.
Blind pigs and acorns.

Oakland's run defense is an atrocity.

KC, with Kolby Smith running behind a poor o-line, was carving Oakland the fuck up in the 1st quarter.
Hell, Oakland has been carved up by EVERYONE's running game this year.
It's sick.

EVERYONE'S? Take a look a the CLE & Chi games.

I agree, their rush D is atrocoius. Turdell Sands has been a bust, Warren is okay when he's healthy. Brayton is horrible and losing Tommy Kelly for the year really hurts. Also, our offense is so inept, teams will continue to pound the ball knowing they don't have to put up a ton of points.

Fuck that "blind pigs and acorns" bullshit. I'll give them credit for making a great play when they needed to, because it hasn't happened to often this year.

Looks like KC might sign John Carney, and Rayner is going to be packing his shit.

How's that for a public expression of lack of confidence?
