1. i happened to catch some roundtable on espn when they brought up sc as the best team right now, and i figured here we go again.

2. florida found its way into the conversation when trex took a break from all things osu to unload some unsubstantial conditionals.

The "right now" term is interesting though. How are teams playing right now? Well most aren't playing at all. If there were a playoff, there wouldn't be 4-6 week layoffs, they would have a chance to continue the season's momentum throughout. But in this one-game system, why wait so fucking long to play the big games? Don't give me any tradition crap either. Mizzou vs. WVU is about as tradition rich as NFL Europa. So it doesn't matter how teams are playiong "right now" because any and all momentum flies out the window during the looooong layoff between seasons end and the later bowl games.
try playing until december, dont blame the long layoffs on anyone but the schools that stop scheduling games after Nov 15
This is why I said 4-6 weeks. There's a substantial layoff for all conferences. Hell teams struggle with timing coming out of a bye week let alone trying to ramp it back up after shutting it down for a month plus. So as I stated the "right now" debate is pointless.

wait you mean people are still crediting USC for losing those bowl games?

Don't worry we'll see how good both USC and OSU are heads up here soon enough...

you are correct OSU's identity is tied to one game...and the MISCONCEPTION they have no talent just shows everyone's ignorance...I mean again it's like everyone thinks that when kids go to OSU they suddenly become slow and shitty...

but hey Ted Ginn Jr looked at USC hard...I am sure had he went their SOCALTROJAN would still have his pole between is ass cheeks...

LSU 35
USC 79
Don't tell Dins that. He's been under the impression and has insisted quite strongly that Mizzou has played nothing but a "cupcake" of a schedule. I doubt he can be convinced otherwise.

MU played 2 games that are good games in OOC

@ Ole Miss sec is great, and on road, OLE Miss was supposed to be decent this season.
Illinois

Western Michigan wasnt a shit game, decent cup caker

But Illy st is a fuckin joke.

Next season gets worse. many of us who actually buy tickets and go to games( leaves several MU fans on here out of discussion) are not happy to say the least.

I dont have a problem with Illinois every year to start and a nevada and a buffalo and a Wyoming, but these fucking games vs 1AA teams. Fuck SEMO, give them the $$$ and reschedule, let KST have SEMO

If you looking for decent OOC, why the fuck not look at Conf USA or Hit the Big East schools or even vandy and wake, they are bcs and you can actually argue they are BCS schools, and its not a bad game for SOS, but fuck these puffers.

Its bullshit, i dont pay for preseason hockey games and im not paying for preseason cupcake games. Fuck that! Almost a 2 hour trip plus all the food and beer and gas to see SEMO???? Are you fuckin kidding me, and they wonder why people dont pack it in! Even the thugskers went after ND,USC,etc in recent years Fuck you Alden and Pinkel, pussies.

^Agree that playing D1-AA teams is a puss move. Unfortunately, my team is guilty of it this year and next year. Yes we play at the Coliseum in '08, but playing Youngstown State two years in a row just to honor the HC's former school is a jip for the fans. Replace that game with Duke. Hell, at least they're in a BCS conference.

but then that $$$ leaves the state, which is why they play youngstown and all the instate mac schools all the time.

Never said it doesn't count but the dude was a bumbling idiot. Glad he learned some things. You just don't LEARN on the job at a bigtime school like UF or UM or tOSU......
