Also, waht about Arizona State? Their two losses are against two top 10 teams at the time of their losses. Sure, Oregon has fallen off, but that is because Dixon is injured. Why not give them consideration? How can humans and computers seriously pick one two loss team over another. This is fucking bullshit.

Arizona State isn't a option after what USC did to them.
Only 5 teams should be in the discussion right now...period.

I can live with Kelly but look for Coach Martin up at GVSU right now to be getting some calls for a D-IA job very soon. 40th in a row today for the Lakers.

Martin isnt going anywhere and GVSU isnt moving up either.
Both should but wont.
Why leave GVSU to coach at a directional school?
Why leave and have to wait 5 years to play in the playoffs?

Central Michigan.

To me, two losses is two losses if you play in a competitive major conference. Kansas is the exception because they played in a bad North division this year and played nobody outside.

Also, I know LSU lost both their games in triple OT, but Georgia's two losses should be no different than LSU's. The SEC is much like the NFL when it comes to the competition. ANY GIVEN SATURDAY in that conference. Just sayin'.

Idiot.
If not for OU, you have nothing to hang your hat on. The 5th best team in the North walked in to Austin and shit on your team. A&M, OSU, TTech...they did nothing against the North. Colorado vs. OU. Colorado vs. Tech. KU wiped their ass with their 3 South teams.
Hell, you needed a furious rally to beat a Nebraska team that couldn't keep Fred Lane out of the end zone.
I'm not pimping KU for a title shot. Far from it. But it's good to know you're playing the Sudden Sam card and jocking the nearest conference school you can.

Forget my last post. Now I know you're trolling.

I'm doing plenty of worrying, you can bet on that. These bcs discussions are serving as a temporary distraction.

I retract my last post, but you have to admit the bottom 4 of the North division would probably be lucky to get one conference win against SEC foes.

First .. only major conference champions should be in the argument
OSU, LSU, USC, V Tech, OU, WVa
Every team has 2 losses except OSU .. they're in.
LSU 2 OT losses, but to questionable teams. UK and Ark
USC, horrible loss to Stanford and L to Oregon when they were good.
OU bad losses to TTech and Colorado
Va Tech, killed by LSU, loss to BC.
WVa .. out with that loss to Pitt and another to S Fla
To me, it's between LSU and OU and I have to say LSU losses weren't as bad as OU's
OSU v LSU

If it were me, I'd make it tOSU vs. LSU. It's tough to say that one team's two losses are "better" than any other's, but as someone pointed out earlier, both of LSU's losses came in triple OT. I can't see putting either Georgia or Kansas in, in light of the fact that neither team won their conference, or even their division for that matter.
This year just screams out for a playoff, not that we'll see one anytime soon.

Already down 21-0 with 5 minutes left in the first. Hmmmmm, the first BCS program they play all season is rolling them at home.

No matter who wins the MNC we won't really know for sure who the best team is.
That's what's so whacked with this system. I love the sport, but hate the system.

this year's version won't even be mythical. how can this year actually produce a champion aside from having a game called a championship?

It is a risk some dont want to take.
I am pretty sure Martin knows his limitations.
He goes out on a limb coaches directional michigan a few years, busts, and winds up at some gliac school getting his ass whooped every year by GV

They always get rolled early.
Rope-a-dope....tires out the other teams offense.
They had them the whole time....
If, huge if, Hawaii beats georgia, they should get a split of the MNC.
