Even though Edwards did have the stones to actually call out rampant rabid corporatism as the primary assault upon American life, he has always struck me as somehow a shamelss smiler, a classic smoothie with neither genuine political convictions, nor that pretty thing called soul. He won't be missed--but HOLY FUCKING SHIT if he had gotten the veep nod before this blew up.
As for the hagged videographer--maybe she's the freak in the sack that he'd never known before. Greater men have fallen for less.
