And they just extended his contract 6 years last week. Woops!!! I had to shake my head at that last drive. Absolutely horrible clock management, especially when you have 2 timeouts left.
I figured WVU would take a step back this season, but they may be in danger of being totally left behind.

Damn, man, if you would've just posted this before the game it would've saved me about 2.5 hours of being extremely stressed out.

No shit.
Words are precious, Jon.
Quit wasting them.

About CU?
Hardly. If the Buff defense can't stop a one dimensional offense like WVA, how are they going to keep Daniel and company from rolling up huge numbers?
They can't, and they won't.

CU wins, Cuda shows.
almost no chance CU beats Mizzou at Faurot.
Colorado needs to focus not on being 3-0 but not losing the next 3.

i see fla-state & texas as likely losses. kansas isn't as great as everybody seems to think & neither is mizzou- buffs will beat at least one of the two, possibly both.
without felons on board, k-state is all done.
a&m, iowa state & okie state are also-rans and nebraska is still living a lie.
buffs finish no worse than 8-4; with a little luck, 9-3.

MU will crush CU, daniel and company will put up 50+
the only chance CU has, is to have a drive that takes 2 quarters, and they end the half with a TD. Mizzou scores opening 2nd half, and CU takes the rest of game to go down the field and kick a FG to win. so really, they have ZERO shot
this isnt being cocky, its being realistic. CU showed me nothing, WVU last a ton on defense, and lost the rest to injury. and a FG in last 3 quarters+ OT is all u can get??? wow
i knew CU would be average again, KST is the team i thought would improve a little, with QB being in system for 3 full years, but they are horrible.
here i thought the North was going to improve, and not be a 2 team league. Nebraska is the only saving grace, rest of teams(minus MU and KU) suck nards

if CU goes 3-1 in these games, they've done very well. how is Okie State an also ran and CU isn't? who hasn't had a winning season in 2 years?
i'd put the % at about 2-2.

the only close game of those 4 will be a&m. buffs will win the rest and the outcomes will never be in doubt

There'll be no 5th down. This will get ugly. Coods should avert his eyes.

i'll almost lay whatever the number is in the CU-Missouri game.
CU is a 6-7 win team at best. MU will run it up a little at Faurot to juice the boosters. this is kind of a old timey Big 8 rivalry. and no love is lost about 1990.

I think I fall somewhere between Cuda's overconfidence and everybody else's cynicism on this one. I think CU is at least a 7-win team after beating WVU. if they only win six, it means they lost to someone they shouldn't have (not that I'm in any way implying that CU is above doing that). Before the season, I basically broke the season into 4ths:
more than 90% chance of winning
CSU
Eastern Washington
ISU
50-70% chance
aTm
KSU
Okie St
30-50% chance
FSU
Kansas
UNL
less than 10% chance
WVU
Texas
Mizzou
Now obviously, WVU is not living up to their preseason Top 10 billing. But if we take care of ISU, win 2/3 of the second group and 1/3 of the third group, that'd be 7 wins right there. 8-4 is even a slim possibility. But at this point, at 3-0 (albeit a very ugly 3-0), finishing 6-6 would definitely be a disappointment. Not saying it won't happen, but I think it would involve losing a game they're favored to win.

to me, this where it has to happen. CU has to win at least 2 of these 3. Unlike the newly minted "we're back" CU boards, i don't think any of these games are a gimme. at Kyle/ATM is a probable win for CU? No. Prince has owned Hawkins and O-State is hard to defend. Has Colorado shown they can score enough points to win against a good team? the answer is no.
they don't even score in the last 3 quarters Thursday night.
