No way Marty, in fact yesterday 10-13, made for 6 years without a drink. I'm just naturally a bit off. That won't be a problem will it ?
I think Mikey hit it on the head though, more cardio less Oneboard is a good thing.

You get ten points for the somewhat obscure Jurassic Park reset. Kudos.
Ayers is absolutely a questionable relationship. Obama should be scrutinized for it until it the exact nature of the union comes to light.
That doesn't mean to shush it away without discretion. It means, why are you on a board with this guy? Why did you see Tim McVeigh/Eric Rudolph at the table across from you and stayed there? Why didn't you get up and walk out? Was it that beneficial to you? What was the reasoning? I want to know before I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
And yes, if it was innocent, I'll accept that and question your judgement instead.

People really just can't seem to get this one. It is not what Obimbo sees in Ayers, it is what did Ayers see in Obaboon.

Hope rozy, hope. Ayers sees, what we all see, hope and change. A promise for tomorrow. I know it's hard seeing it. But Mikey, Marty, and Goobs have set me straight. Like them, I just click my heels, close my eyes, and repeat again and again .... "Obama means Change". Eventually, you see it, plain as day.
Just don't open your eyes though, it will ruin it.
Anyway, once I saw it, I could see what Ayers saw in Obama and what 59% and growing of our brothers and sisters in this country see in Obama.
Close your eyes
Breathe deep
Click your heels
"Obama means change"
Close your eyes

See it yet ?

No I am not. I see the error of my ways.
It is absolutely wrong to bring up anything about Obama that might be negative. Obama means hope, change, a better tomorrow and a brighter future for the children.
You aren't suggesting I should hate the children are you ?
ARE YOU ?
I"m falling in line. I recommend you stay in line too, brother Mikey.
* Over the course of the campaign, Barack Obama has laid out a set of policies that will grow our middle class and strengthen our economy.
* But he knows we face an immediate economic emergency that requires urgent action - on top of the plans he's already laid out - to help workers and families and communities struggling right now.
* That's why Barack Obama is introducing a comprehensive four-part Rescue Plan for the Middle Class - to immediately to stabilize our financial system, provide relief to families and communities, and help struggling homeowners.
* This is a plan that can and should be implemented immediately.
* Obama has shown steady leadership during this crisis and offered concrete solutions to move the country forward - and his Rescue Plan for the Middle Class builds on the plans to strengthen the economy and rebuild the middle class that he's laid out over the course of this campaign.
* Already in this campaign, he's unveiled plans to give 95 percent of workers and their families a tax cut, eliminate income taxes for seniors making under $50,000, bring down the cost of health care for families and businesses; and create millions of new jobs by investing in the renewable energy sources.
* John McCain has been erratic and unsteady since this crisis began - staggering from position to position and trying to change the subject away from the economy by launching false character attacks.

I am used to it felix. Already, my coffee tastes better, the trees are more vibrant, the air is cleaner, and the birds are singing a happy tune.
Obama doing coke is no big deal. Hanging out with members of the Red and Anarchist Action Network etc.. etc.. wouldn't be a big deal either. Really it wouldn't. Number one, I think he's already admitted some coke use in his past (helped with his street cred), and he already is about as left wing as it gets.
The pendulum swings and right now it's swinging hard to the left .....

Not at all. Confused, but not bitter.
In all seriousness, I'm not one to think the world won't end when Obama takes the Oath of Office. Our system has checks and balances.
Now if the Dems get a super majority, then I might get a bit bent. But just a little, because there'll be another election right around the corner.

When our man gets into the White House we'll be changing the rules on when and where the rules need to be followed.

I think the American people have pretty much had their fill of Bush Republicans, and McCain, who I think is a decent enough guy is simply feeling the repercussions of it...
but to be honest here, I think it was his Palin pick that will ultimately prove to be the millstone around the neck of his bid for the Presidency....my better half, who is pretty much a dyed-in-the-wool Republican told me that after listening to Sarah Palin's canned and inane responses to pretty straight forward questions, she could not ever vote for McCain
I find that alot with my Rep buds too

When you have William F. Buckley Jr's son resigning from the National Review and endorsing Obama, that should tell you something.
Dyed in the wool conservatives do not want to win this election. Bush forsaked them, McCain has never been one of them, and Palin's nod as the VP candidate is a long term strategic move, in my opinion. Somebody flashy, new, and exciting to stimulate a core group and potentially attract new folks.
There are other elections going on besides the Presidential one that count. And getting Palin out there is as much for them as it is for the Presidential election - in my opinion.
The plan, as I see it, is bail on the White House, focus on the Other House(s), and come back in 2012 strong amidst the hopes that Obama's presidency will be Carteresque.

I hope he's a great president (assuming of course that he in fact does win the Presidency), and not because he's a Democrat but because this country is in serious need of a Great President....I couldn't care less whether it was a Democrat or a Republican, man or woman...this country needs a great leader.
but I'm not sure there are any great leaders left, everybody seems to be more concerned about winning elections than getting shit done.

I don't think it's fair to say there aren't any great leaders around. There are. I think Obama has definite leadership qualities. He's smart, he's eloquent, he's has empathy (for some). The thing I see that Obama seems to lack is decisiveness. Bill Clinton had all the same qualities - all good sound leadership qualities - but he too fell short on decisiveness many times. Conversely, Bush, is decisive but isn't eloquent, appears to lack empathy, and isn't as smart (according to some). His father, was the same way and Carter seemed almost too damned sympathetic and had too much empathy that it got in the way of him making good decisions.
It all boils down to this. Obama will get what he's seeking. Once there he will soon find out it takes an awful lot more to be the President of the United States than "PRESENT".

What a crock. Even your own candidate knew he couldn't beat John McCain one on one. His only strategy was to tie McCain to Bush at every turn. It was a well waged
propaganda campaign and Obama won. Hands down he won the war of lies.
But don't think for a minute Obama measures up to McCain - the man - one to one. Obama wouldn't make a pimple on McCain's ass.

So what, exactly, is it really then?
Ignorance may be bliss (I wouldn't know), but bitterness at being repudiated by the majority of the electorate seems to be carrying you pretty far these days.
