Lefty, thanks for taking a look.

I'm wondering why the replay officials didn't buzz down to the field like they are always so quick to do.

Yes, but as we learned in 2002, USC QBs are allowed one bounce on a TD pass. Special L.A. Coliseum rules.

You still didn't give me your thoughts on the 2 points I brought up. Why no buzz down to the field from the replay booth? In addition, Tedford could have called a timeout, and then if still no replay he could have used his challenge.
NONE OF THOSE THINGS HAPPENED.

Special Coliseum rules my ass. Quit fucking crying, "your team" got stuffed.

what makes you think USC wouldnt have scored on the next play if they over turned the Turner catch? And Cal should have never had those 3 points, there were 2 interceptions called back by bullshit calls that gave them first downs

I agree.

Ummmm.... the fact that they only scored 3 points in 57 minutes.

Don't make me go find those two penalties on video.... it won't turn out well for you.

Both penalties were legit.

Cushing was an idiot for taking 3 steps after the throw and knocking Longshore about 6 yards to the ground.

These things are called penalties and are enforced in football games. You guys get away with so much shit... you think your entitled to "break the rules" even on the football field.

The pass interference call was also legit.... Tucker was grabbed as he was making his turn in to make the catch before Mays picked it off.

You can't grab the wide receiver when the ball is in the air.... even if you are $C.

.m2,

So now you are saying the officials made the correct calls against USC? Does this mean that you agree a foul happened on the pass to #34?

.m2 will only say what he wants to back his own arguments and to hell with anything else. He'll even change facts and other people's words to make his case.

Yeah, just not the call made on the field.

If you say the "wide receiver" isn't allowed a "set move" and you consider it two players in motion... then

The Game should have been 3-3.

This makes the dynamics of the game completely different.

While I have you here.... there was also a big penalty in the game that should have given Cal an automatic first down... yet, it didn't.

Isn't Defensive holding an automatic first down?

Major drive kill when Cal was rolling.

I think m2 is just upset about theJON making a huge preemptory move to claim the 2008 Board Bitch title over the weekend, and fighting for what he feels is rightfully his.

Anytime 2 players or more are moving on offense then eveyone must come set for one second, before anyone else can go in motion or the ball can be snapped. Exceptions are made for the QB who uses his foot to send a guy in motion or to signal a snap out of the shotgun.

Defensive holding is not always an auto first down. 90% of the time it is. If ball is thrown to a held receiver and a flag was dropped for holding earlier in the play it can sometimes also be changed sometimes to DPI.
