Another band that, imho, is very underrated. This was the first song of this genre I ever heard. I was about six or seven at the time. One of my classmates brought in a 45 (yeah, I know I'm dating myself with that reference) and surprisingly (after all, this was a Catholic school) the teacher let him play it. It blew me away, was nothing like anything I had heard until that time. I had no older siblings, and I knew this was drastically different from what my parents listened to (years later, it blew my mind when I found out that Jon Lord was only about three years younger than my parents).
