Not when you get the trophy from what amounts to a coin flip, there is no honor in that. Texas earns its trophy's that's why we are proud of them. We didn't have to buy our players or back our way into a title game based on a BS rule. Like I said feel proud of getting a trophy you didn't deserve we will continue to point out our scoreboard.

I remember 2001 when OU beat Texas. I also remember when we won the South and had to hear from resident OU fan about Scoreboard. That was the end of all talk when you had scoreboard. Funny how that changes. 58-40-1.

Stoops is master of winning conference champions but losing bowl games to Boise state, West Virgina, and Florida. Congrats I'm sure those conference trophies make all those seasons worth it.

That's exactly what they're saying Sam. As I stated earlier the damn rule was put in place at their politicking. The University of Oklahoma voted against the format. When it didn't work out the way it was supposed to in their narcissistic world view is when the rule was suddenly a problem.

In a good move by the Univ of Texas, athletic staff was paid bonuses for last season. They were not called Big XII champion bonuses or anything like that, instead they were BCS bonuses. All staff got them except for the Head Coach, coordinators, and AD.

Also heard a radio interview that said much of the fuss is over something the staff had planned to use as motivation. They claim this was not for public consumption and that it was only to be a rally point for off-season workouts. Granted that could just be spin in light of what has happened.

Sam I think we know that Florida dodged a bullet when it came to not playing Texas or USC. both would have beaten them. Mack ain't dumb enough to get inside the red zone 3 times and come away with zero points. The Texas defense was also light years ahead of Choklahoma. That right there would have been enough to put Texas over the top.

In the end USC probably was the best of the bunch, looking back I'm pretty sure of all the schools they had the best defense with Texas probably having the best offense against legit competition.

As a USC fan, I know Florida and Texas were the only two teams I was concerned about, come bowl season. Oklahoma didn't concern me at all.

Texas, due to their grittyness. Clutch team. Florida, due to their balance and athleticism. Also, I really respect Urban Meyer, in a big game.

USC would've been a solid favorite over Texas. USC would've been a Pick 'Em to maybe a two point favorite over Florida.

I think what would've happened against Florida is that USC would've jumped up big early and then they would've ended up holding on to win an uncomfortably close game.

Texas? No big "feeling" about that one, really. I know Texas wouldn't have been able to run on USC. I know USC would've been able to throw on Texas, which would've opened up the running game.

I think with Texas it would've come down to whether Colt could go insane? He would've kept them in it, but USC's defense was so much better than the Texas D that I just don't think Texas would've been able to keep up, point for point.

Like I said, though, I don't have much of a feeling for that game.
