The employees can be paid a higher wage, regardless of the business. Just charge those making over $250K as much as is necessary to pay them an above market wage.

i could save $3 per hour on each employee by not paying for their health insurance but i am not that greedy. what do i need another wing on my house for? do i really need a brand new cycle? i could use the money to party in vegas but do i need to? not only would i would have a tougher time retaining employees if i did not cover their health insurance but i would feel like shit. the government is not going to cover them no matter how much obama said he planned on doing so.

I pay market level wages and health insurance because it is standard for our business, and required in prevailing wage work. It has nothing to do with how I value my employees...they are hard working tradesmen who make a living wage. Most of them make more than I do right now.
