The ones who feel that way, however, are the most relevant ones where we are concerned. This understanding is crucial, I think - we are not at war with an entire religion, instead we are at war with radicals on both sides - with radical Islam, with guys like McVeigh, with orthodox settlers who throw stones at secular jewish women for appearing in public wearing pants.

You give Islam a wide berth such as this and yet singlehandedly wage a war against Papists - good honest Papists - because of a very SMALL MINORITY of priests with frisky fingers.

Tom - as I've said many times, there are a lot of good folks who are Catholics. The RCC organization leaves a hell of a lot to be desired.

Truth. But you're a pitbull when you attack the organization. Not entirely a bad thing at all. I do think an organization such as CAIR is worthy of some of your focus too.

Further, following the money trail, I'm quite sure money filters back to some Islamic fundies - unknown to the faithful. Not entirely unlike the "hush money" the church was doling out in Boston when people thought it would help the poor.
