Now, that deserves a rack. Islam is not composed only of muslims who are actively looking to attack us and destroy our way of life. The ones who feel that way, however, are the most relevant ones where we are concerned. This understanding is crucial, I think - we are not at war with an entire religion, instead we are at war with radicals on both sides - with radical Islam, with guys like McVeigh, with orthodox settlers who throw stones at secular jewish women for appearing in public wearing pants.

You give Islam a wide berth such as this and yet singlehandedly wage a war against Papists - good honest Papists - because of a very SMALL MINORITY of priests with frisky fingers.

Very objective take there for a very subjective guy.

Tom - as I've said many times, there are a lot of good folks who are Catholics. The RCC organization leaves a hell of a lot to be desired.

Truth. But you're a pitbull when you attack the organization. Not entirely a bad thing at all. I do think an organization such as CAIR is worthy of some of your focus too.

Further, following the money trail, I'm quite sure money filters back to some Islamic fundies - unknown to the faithful. Not entirely unlike the "hush money" the church was doling out in Boston when people thought it would help the poor.
