If you keep pounding it into my brain, day after day, that I really crave "brand X", one day I'll wake up saying...
"you know...I really could go for some "brand X"..."
It's not rocket science.

I'm quite familiar with Alan Watt's "work".
He's a real crackpot's crackpot.

I wouldn't worry about that Papa Willie. The New "Key Master of Gozer", "Paymaster General", "Compensation Czar" or whatever will target attornies next, so a lot will leave the field.
And stop with the "liberal lawyer" crap. EVERY CITIZEN BY RIGHT, DESERVES A CAPABALE DEFENSE when the Government levies charges agains them.

Well it's either that or the incurable cancer of corrupt government that even with the system we have today convicts innocent people from time to time.

Of course it's a lie. He was never, at any point, the object of the bizarre, cult-like adulation that surrounds On...igger. You never saw Republicans brainwashing school children into singing hymns of praise to "George....Walker....Bush...mmm hmm."
You're kidding, right?
You never saw media pantloads like Chris Tingle . . . swearing fealty to the Bush Administration and vowing that it was their sacred duty to help the administration succeed.
Maybe not, but he did engage in an Irie Lagos moment with Bush, and later proclaimed "we're all neocons now."

Tom, it's not about Obama cultism or reactionary Right populism.
Your country has a burning lust for celebrity-blessed idolatry festooned with "magic" and pageantry.
I'll tell you this...at least poptart and I can agree on one thing. You're country is more concerned with building a golden calf than anything else.

Care to attempt to support that crass smear? I doubt you can because that would entail you actually having a take, etc. No, M-fake, Alan Watts was not a fraud at all. We notice, however, that you could never actually point out someone whom you really do admire. And I don't mean Caribou Barbie

Yeah but you have to admit, it was a killer mix and getting "Cut Creator" from LL Cool J on the "Wheels of Steel" was sheer artistic brilliance.
Yeah, Marty, I agree with you. The "Golden Calf" thing, what I meant by you're going to win is that the fight over building a Golden Donkey, others still a Golden Elephant; could be our demise.
But your dream will never come true. You know that. Secretly, you love us. ;)

And you would presume to summarize it? You're suggesting that you are prepared to actually comment on Watts? An actual take--beyond your standard tired little snips? Based on your limp efforts in the past, this would appear to be impossible. But go ahead, try it. Bring actual quotes and proper contexts and try to dismiss Alan Watts as a fraud.

I know you listen to Watts...
You probably also follow Rense, Jones and the kooks at RBN/GCN.
Hell, you might even listen to Daryl Bradford Smith...
RS_T_TRMBONE2, yours is not an overly complicated story. I know where you scrape together your hair-brained speculations.
You parrot these shrieking lunatics verbatim.

Political corruption was perfected in Chicago by the Daily machine and taught to the rest of the scoundrels.
Lets see, who came from Chicago?

Way to move the goal posts. Yet again.
Equating Bush with God is far, FAR scarier than any so-called indoctrination that has gone on for Obama.
Go fuck yourself, shitstain.
How many of those kids are there because they want to be there?

Marty, Terry's detachment from reality is only indicative of the pandemic to which you were referring and poptart has been warning us about for years.
Newton places 2060 as the year it will all end and God's (not George Bush's) prophecy will come to fruition.
Bace, I don't know, I would suggest that maybe the State of Georgia having become victim to the actions of other states in the union once before like to keep their eye on what goes on in those states.

Yeah. We gotta keep those lessons from 150 years ago. Those days were like EXACTLY like what we have now.

As a practical matter, that's impossible.
Assuming Obama serves two full terms, my kids will be 18 and 11, respectively, when he leaves office.
Now, if you'd said Jeb or P in place of Obama, and Iraq in place of Afghanistan, you might've been on to something.

I live within an 8 minute drive of Illinois and get a lot of Illinois news here. And I go there to have girls with lots of debt shake her tits in my face.
What's important is that ALL municipal governments are corrupt houses of patronage and crap. Chicago is no different than St. Louis or Tammany Hall or Los Angeles; if your cousin is elected, then you get a cush job. Nothing is done for the people its mainly done to promote the careers of those in power.
The fact that all of a sudden you're hearing a lot more about how corrupt Chicago is specifically should tell you that some PR is involved.

Fair enough.
"Nothing is done for the people its mainly done to promote the careers of those in power."
That's pretty much politics in a nutshell. Especially wary of the folks promising to do stuff for the people, because you just know they're full of shit. They're for taking money from citizens and setting up bureaucracies for their cronies.
I assure you the HR departments of the Fed have been quite busy the past ten months creating "need" for SES positions that aren't needed. Lower level execs and managers who don't play ball are invited to leave or transfer.
Personally, it doesn't bother me all that much because that's how I was always taught in history, the victor gets the spoils. But until we figure a way to fuel our economy on empty promises and hot air ... taking care of big oil .... seems in everyone's best interests.

Which Georgia itself, in conjunction with other (southern) states, precipitated by being on the wrong side of history. And morality, for that matter.
Btw, as has been mentioned elsewhere in this thread ad nauseum, New York's problems are hardly limited to the Democratic side of the house. Moreover, many of the Democrats shutyomouth mentioned are DINO's anyway.

Don't fucking lecture me about morality you creep. The convention and thinking at the time were that some people were LESS HUMAN than others. Sound fucking familiar ? That's right. Our little WASP run country inherited that shit from Europe and enslaved blacks in the South and treated them like shit in the North because .... They were less human.
It wasn't restricted to people of color either. The funniest part of it is that Obama's people (Luo) were big time slave traders ... (unconfirmed, of course)

Don't you understand?. The south simply failed to recognize that Klaus Meine was warming up in the bullpen.
