The more I think about it, the more I wonder if Hawkins is smarter than we give him credit for. How else can you explain redshirting Tyler Hanson, the only other QB on the roster with game experience? If Hawkins gets fired mid-season, there's a very good chance that Cody immediately transfers or quits the team. That leaves the interim coach with the choice of burning a redshirt or starting a true freshman. It's actually a pretty devious plan, if you think about it. If only he put that much thought into gameplanning...

K State lost to one of the directional Louisiana schools yesterday. that could be an epic tilt.

I really thought Hawkins was a money hire. I can't believe he was such a bust. Pretty apparent Hawkins misses having a Chris Peterson under him. Hasn't helped that Hawkins has continued to push his mediocre kid.

They've had decent second-halves in both games, they're just coming-out like crap and blowing their legs off with mistakes.

So, assuming things keep going similarly, who do they get this offseason?

Petersen is what made Hawkins, not the other way around.....Petersen is the innovation in Boise's offense....Hawkins was the talking head

Cody Hawkins was actually thinking about staying at Boise State until he saw Kellen Moore's high school recruiting tape...that fucker would be lucky to be third string at BSU
