How was that NOT a penalty on Taylor Mays?? He ripped Rodgers' helmet off, right out in the open! That was the clearest face mask call you will EVER see! How did they not call that??

That has to be the worst call I've ever seen. It was right out in the open, just the two guys. There is no way to miss that. He ripped the guy's helmet clean off his head, making the helmet roll five yards, and making the guy's head twist and snap back.

That is inexcusable for the refs to miss that.

So, of course, since they missed the call, they just made up for it on the next play. You KNEW they would call a hold or a clip against USC on the subsequent kickoff, and of course they did.



What would a USC drive be following a kickoff, if it doesn't start off with a big penalty?

USC needs to answer again. Doesn't look like either O will be stopped tonight, so that punt return for a TD by Williams may end up proving to be the difference. That play was tantamount to the big turnover I was calling for.

P.I. against OSU, and McCoy was hurt on the play. Uh-oh. McCoy is being assisted off the field, and he can't put any weight on his leg.

Barkley to Williams for a huge one! They're develpoping a great chemistry, Barkley to Williams. That's scary.

Barkley looks incredible. With a guy in his face, it's unreal the way Barkley just stands in there and delivers the ball. Hard to believe this is only his fifth game out of high school.

AND THEN HE GETS PICKED, ON A FANTASTIC PLAY BY THE SAFETY! Great pass, but a little late, and the safety made a helluva play on the ball.

OSU needed that. A USC score there would've ended this one.

Props to Oregon St. Mike Riley plays USC better than anyone in the country. Dude should give clinics. The Rodgers brothers are terrors, and Canfield is a stud.

Whew. Now it's on to the monster game in Autzen. Sure hope McCoy is healthy for that one. Losing him would be huge. Along with Damian Williams, Barkley to McCoy has become USC's biggest "big play" combination.

Good thing Oregon doesn't run a "normal" OSU style offense, because OSU sure gave them the blueprint on how to throw against it.
