If you look into the situation a little more you'll find that Hanson himself was NOT credible.
Changed his story.
Inconsistencies in his story.
Delayed significantly coming forward about the incident.
The D.A. didn't buy his bullshit.

I don't know, as I wasn't there.
If Hanson brings a civil suit against Cable then perhaps this can be shown to be the case.

He violated the NFL's Personal Conduct policy AGAIN....
How, exactly?
Pollard SUCKED ASS. Derrick Johnson won't do what he's told to do. That's why Pollard got whacked and DJ sees more bench time than playing time. Again, not real hard to understand.
Are you saying that practice squad John McGraw and washed up Mike Brown were and are better than either Pollard or DJ?
Did you see McGraw get clowned by Sproles as he zipped by him on that 59 yard screen pass for a TD? Think Pollard could've made that play? I do.
Did you see Brown grasping at air and getting a facemask full of field turf when Miles Austin took it to the fucking house in OT to beat us? Think DJ could've made that play? I do.
You have your lips firmly locked around Haley's nuts and are nosing the taint. You have no objectivity whatsoever. Blaming Carl for the teams current state of affairs is just as ignorant as libtards blaming Bush for the current $1.4 trillion deficit.
I hope the situation improves 'cause it damn sure can't get much worse. The new regime has made atrocious player personnel moves and Haley's game management has made Herm Edwards look like Vince fucking Lombardi.
At least we were competitive under Herm and not getting blown the fuck off our own damn field in the worst home loss since losing to the SB champ '76 Steelers.
That's right, we allowed a mediocre team like the blots, whom their own fans think suck, waltz into Arrowhead and hand us our asses for the 2nd worst home beatdown in franchise history. Swallow
that while you're gargling Haley and Pioli grapesack.

If it's as easy and clear cut as that, Hanson ought to bring a civil suit and walk away with a nice payday.
Let's see what happens.
Again, neither of us were there.
You want to jump to a conclusion, as did media and message board hacks did when the story first broke.
These hacks have already been shown to be blowhards and fools.
Cable was guilty of a crime, they promised.
And yet when the FACTS came out, the D.A. couldn't bring a single charge against him, and said there was no evidence of threats or assault on the part of Tom Cable.
Let me ask you a question, ucant.
If it's this easy and clear cut, and Cable is responsible for the injuries, Hanson will bring a civil suit so that he can be compensated for this misery he's had to endure.
Right?

Paul & Wags -
There's some accuracy in both your takes.
The Peterson era made huge personnel mistakes.
Look at signing LJ with his baggage but trading Jared Allen for his DUIs for starters.
Last season's draft looked solid and graded high - and I guess Albert is a player (hurt now) - but Tyler, Turk? whiffs.
But also watching this years games, I can look back at last season and say at least they were kind of competitive (and entertaining)
Haley's coaching is a joke so far - and firing Chan Gailey was a collosal fuck up.
I'm also not to impressed with Tyson Jackson or Matt Cassel or anybody they have brought in so far except Corey Mays and Vrable
The Bullshit with Bowe, DJ, Pollard is absurd.
You put the best players on the field - you don't play head games at this point.
We're a cluster fuck right now.
I was pretty happy when we got Pioli but now I'm not so sure - maybe he really was just riding Belicheats coat tails
I ran into a buddy that works there over the summer - he said Pioli is the biggest douche he's ever seen
When you have the train wreck we had - it seems like experience would have been the better course of action.
Bill Cower?
Fuckin A.
An article I read, but can't find now (Fuck Yahoo) possibly explained Clarke Hunt's rationale, he was paying a shitload to Pioli and he didn't want to throw boatloads cash at a coach like cower or Shannahan who would also demand final personnel calls. A lot easier to hire a rookie HC who could become expendable after one season

What are the odds that either buddy of yours has a.) actually spent any time with either person b.) would actually offer up an unbiased opinion of the man?
Furthermore, do either of you ladies really care about your HC's/GM's...
personality? Seriously bitches, go swing your purses at life's meanies in the
Dancing With the Stars forum.
Btw -- I've heard that Dan Rooney diddles little boys. Heinz Field? Yeah, it's because he likes eating so many little weiners. Tell me you knew.

My friend is successfully retired at 50, and joined the team as an eqt and player gopher just beacuse of his love of all things Chiefs (not my idea for retirement but WTF) - so he's basically doing this beacuse he enjoys that enviornment. His interaction with Pioli is brief but sees him multiple times on any given day during camp in River Falls. So it's not just his perspective, but also how he related to the other people working on the team including players, trainers and other staff.
There's nothing wrong with a boss making hard business decisions, cutting staff for under performance, etc.- but there is in being a dick just for the sake of creating a Personna of intimidation.
Serioously - would you want to work in a company where the boss treated everyone like shit, simply for the sake of trying to cultivate an image? Again, we're not talking about riding players for on field performance, or busting their ass on the practice field for conditioning - we're just talking about basic interaction here.
From my perspective, from the salesmen who report to me, to the admin staff that process the orders and the tech support team that helps the customers, everyone is treated with respect and common courtesy. I just don't get the whole "fuck yiu" mentality that some peole carry

No, I wouldn't... but that's not the question, is it? I am too far removed from my favorite team's leaders and their personalities to really give two shits about them. They could sacrifice... or fuck... goats for all I care. If they win, that's all I really care about.
Do you base your investment decisions upon the personality of each company's CEO/Board of Directors? Are is you only concern how much money they're going to make you? Get real, bro.

Obviously not - but in the case of the Chefs, the current management style isn't breeding success.
It worked out for the Pats - if indeed Belicheat is as big a dick to the "staff" as is indicated.
Perhaps he wasn't that way in the begining, and evolved as the wins came and everyone bought into the program.

Sheer coincidence....and good luck with BP actually covering a WR or TE. BRUTAL pass coverage skills, to say the least. Think Roy Williams Jr.

Admittedly, Pollard was exposed in the Texans zone scheme in the 2nd half of the Niners game. That, however, wasn't all on him as the scheme was really an experiment because the Texans were up big. Credit Smith and Davis for finding the holes and laying some nice balls right over the linebackers.
As for the run D, no it's not a coincidence. Pollard has been the 8th man in the box and has been stout. He's been fucking shit up for guys like Cedric Benson and Frank Gore; two runners who've had their way with poor run defenses this season.
Try again you disgusting fat body.

OF COURSE he's been the "8th man in the box"....he's a fucking LB masquerading as a SS. You know, like Roy Williams has for the last 7 years (big hitter, but can't cover ANYBODY)? Same deal, different players....I know Pollard's deal, shitstain. I've seen his act here the last three years.

Chiefs release tainted, fading rushing star Larry Johnson
Nov. 9, 2009
CBSSports.com staff and wire reports
KANSAS CITY -- The Kansas City Chiefs released fading backfield star and trouble magnet Larry Johnson on Monday.
Johnson has put together 30 100-yard rushing games and 5,996 yards on the ground with Kansas City since being their No. 1 draft pick in 2003 out of Penn State. But Johnson has also been involved in off-field trouble and was suspended from Sunday's game, a 24-21 loss in Jacksonville
