Not really. They were good enough to hang around and take advantage of Charger miscues and mistakes but that's about it. They're a respectable team, but nothing special and 16 times out of 17 they would have been sent packing.

Whether or not the Jets beat the Colts is completely irrelevant. They still don't suck, just because they sucked against Atlanta, and their D still had quite a bit to do with the Chargers' offense performing well below their previous efficiency. A team doesn't just 'hang around' without doing something which will allow them to hang around. Their D kept them in that game long enough to win it.

The Jets have exactly what it takes to beat the Chargers. A great pass defense. The Chargers running game is only average so they have to rely on the passing game too much. The Colts best be careful because their running game isn't so hot either. The Jets may very well do the same thing to them.

Saw this somewhere else. Pretty good.

Who know Asante Samuel was playing corner for the Chargers now?

This is actually a tight playoffs and we have the best top 4 at this point in the season, easy. The Jets are only missing the beast mode bombing attack and they don't need it one bit. BAL needed SD like SD needed IND to advance because they can overcome their weaknesses against these teams...they have a shot. The Jets found out quickly that SD can get punched in the mouth and whimper plus the fact that their defense is still an AFC West D and BAL learned once again that Manning will always be able to do enough to get over. I knew coming in IND was the last team I wanted to see but Chargerfan.......LOL we're going to The Superbowl, we're hot, total ignorance. They just thought, we can beat IND and they're the best so we're in! A victory over Dallas who beat The Saints and had some spurts and so were then argued as the best in the NFC, LOL. Yea right.
