Well from a technical sense I am actually originally descendant from Welsh Celtics who were lower nobility. I'm pretty sure it was more a kin to a mud hut with grass roof and some scattered farm like animals. That was pretty much the equivalent to such a house though when you owned your own land in those days.

anybody remember motorcycle flat track ice racing? wide world of sports used to carry that shit back in the 70s. I believe it was big in scandinavia. That was some pretty awesome shit. I would vote for that as a winter olympic sport. i would also like to see mountain biking make it. Downhill mountainbike cross on a downhill ski course would be prety fukking epcot, imo. I am sure it would put some fukkers in an early grave as well, which, of course always raises the entertainment value.

Aside from the score, Canada was the better team in the first period. The Americans are having a hard time making the first pass out their zone and Canada is out-muscling them along the boards and around Miller.

In total, NBC is showing only 4 games from the entire tournament. It seems odd considering NBC shows NHL games. Can't really showcase a league on the same channels that show John Cena, Chris Mathews and Jim Kramer.

Oh well, the real sports fans know what to watch...

Also, RACK the announcers. These guys do a good job explaining the game and pointing out things that I wouldn't notice because the action is too fast for an inexperienced fan to see.
