I'm going to pull a page straight out of your playbook and say that I beg to differ. There will be no links, but hearing the same story from different people affiliated with schools that Reggie was being recruited by, signed with, and no connection to the NCAA at all, lead me to believe that there was more than a bit of truth there.SoCalTrjn wrote:USC didnt cheat, are you that slow to not understand that USC did not pay Reggie to come to USC and play?

It's still fun beating those fuckers though, especially since we have taken it on the chin so often from them in B-ball.Bizzarofelice wrote: Mizzou playing Illinois every year and they'e gone from Rose Bowl to Buttholes since.

really, Bugeater? I mention it in the other thread, but with all the love for Bo and NU with Corso and other publications.....this is some sad shit (to paraphrase the venerable Clay Davis). Move over Bill Snyder, take a seat Mike Leach.
you guys better hope that 1. UW is a 7-8 win team and 2. you win at UW. SOS ain't what it used to be but an OOC like that, and say UW isn't .500, isn't going to help you out if you are a "1 loss team" in the pack of 1 loss teams....whether it's computers or drunken sports writers. However, IMO, NU loses at least 2. maybe 3.Danimal wrote: This sched was put together by our old AD Pedey in order to make his boy Callahan look good. And even more next year. :)Bizzarofelice wrote:you have to score points to win.
Huskers will get shut out three times this year.
I realize it's foreign to you Big 12 guys, but it's called "defense", you dumbfuck.Bizzarofelice wrote:nobody will notice nezt year. they will all be asleep.
poor huskerfan will be hating it having to put up with the napfests in the big ten. there is more scoring and action in soccer.
no. it is called three runs between the tackles and a punt... repeat until the crowd is docile and sleepy.Irealize it's foreign to you Big 12 guys, but it's called "defense", you dumbfuck.
swing and a missAnd btw, Nebraska's cupcake OOC schedule appears tougher than their Big 12 North schedule.
Big XII had 3 of the top 8 D's in team defense last year.Mace wrote: I realize it's foreign to you Big 12 guys, but it's called "defense", you dumbfuck.
So did the Big 10. Where were the other 9 teams ranked?King Crimson wrote:Big XII had 3 of the top 8 D's in team defense last year.Mace wrote: I realize it's foreign to you Big 12 guys, but it's called "defense", you dumbfuck.

you said D was "foreign" to the Big XII...sounds like the Big XII's top d's were comparable to the Ten's. against better offenses.Mace wrote:So did the Big 10. You haven't watched a Big 10 game for several years, have you? And apparently you either haven't watched Big 12 North games or you're piss poor at evaluating football teams. Yeah, that's probably it.Bizzarofelice wrote:no. it is called three runs between the tackles and a punt... repeat until the crowd is docile and sleepy.Irealize it's foreign to you Big 12 guys, but it's called "defense", you dumbfuck.

Like Nebraska's offense? Or Iowa State's offense? Or Colorado's offense? How about Kansas and K-State? Yeah, those are some real offensive juggernauts. :roll:King Crimson wrote: you said D was "foreign" to the Big XII...sounds like the Big XII's top d's were comparable to the Ten's. against better offenses.

so, we won't be happy until we conclude that the Big Ten has better defenses *and* offenses....how jon-style BSH of you. conference-hive mind is so boring.Mace wrote:Like Nebraska's offense? Padding your defensive stats against shit offenses doesn't mean you play great defense....in any conference. The Big 12 North sucks....period....and it has forever. Are you trying to say otherwise?King Crimson wrote:so, we won't be happy until we conclude that the Big Ten has better defenses *and* offenses....how jon-style BSH of you. conference-hive mind is so boring.Mace wrote:Like Nebraska's offense? i didn't say anything about the North in this thread. but, here ya go....maybe if you said 5 of the last 6 years i might agree or if you said the balance of power in the XII shifted South over the last 15 years i might agree...but the North has been pretty strong at times and was very formidable the first 5 years of the conference as you can see.Mace wrote:The Big 12 North sucks....period....and it has forever. No, "not beating OU and Texas", but not playing them. Playing them would turn those 10-2 or 9-3 seasons into 8-4 or 7-5 seasons and earn them a trip to a lesser bowl game and a big drop in the rankings, if they're ranked at all. I'll stick with saying that the Big 12 North pretty much sucks and that the sucking will continue in this, their final season of existence. Next season, when the Big 12 starts playing round robin, you want to guess who'll make up the majority of lower half of the conference standings?King Crimson wrote:so, the definition of "suck" is not beating OU or Texas in the last decade. nationally, that's going to put all but about 10 teams on the "suck" list.
take NU out of the picture and the North still has 15 ranked teams over 14 years. still an average of more than 1 a year. we all know the North has been the lesser division over the last 7-8 years but to say flat out that the North "sucks" is a bit silly. to diminish Colorado's Big XII Champ Fiesta Bowl team, MU's two good Daniel teams--in 07 they lose only to OU twice and win the Cotton Bowl (against an SEC team!), handful of top 10 Snyder-KSU teams, and KU's BCS win in the Orange Bowl is like saying that an Iowa or Wiscy team that plays in the Capital One Bowl sucks, too. correct me if i'm wrong, but that's a pretty good year...no?
This coming from a guy who thinks the Big 10 is "3 yards and a cloud of dust". :roll:Bizzarofelice wrote:Mace is all over the place with wild stupidity.
Crimson has approached this discussion with lots of facts to dispute the obvious errors.
Mace still can't see it.
I appreciate your deliberate postings, Crimson, even if Mace seems unable to understand them.
It still is. I gots the Big Ten network and watch games from last year. Then in the middle of it I ask myself "this is boring. why do I watch these things" and my wife says "because you're an asshole".Mace wrote: This coming from a guy who thinks the Big 10 is "3 yards and a cloud of dust".
If your wife would add "stupid" to her assertion, she'd be spot on.Bizzarofelice wrote:It still is. I gots the Big Ten network and watch games from last year. Oh yeah.
Big Ten games move slower. Real talk.
