As far as I'm concerned, anybody who wants to leave California is perfectly welcome.

Our property taxes are already fairly low (see Prop 13). A lot lower than a lot of states. CA ranks #33 in terms of % of home value, 15 in terms of % of median income. It's other taxes that fuck us up more than the rest.

Our property taxes are less than half what they get in New Jersey and most of the other U&R states. I woudn't mind seeing our property taxes go up and the state income tax and sales tax go down, so the money could stay more local.
