You might want to get your miraculous eyesight checked again and/or replace that TV because the receiver clearly did not shift the ball once he'd clutched it to his chest, which was before he ever even hit the ground.

There it is in real time, in slow-mo, and from multiple angles. The ref at the top is clearly saying that the guy landed out of bounds, which was the reason he called it incomplete...which was proven incorrect. The guy landed in-bounds, and that reverse angle shows that the ball never shifted once he'd clutched it to his chest, which he accomplished before ever hitting the ground.
That was a catch, the call should've been overturned, and you two can eat a dick.

Mace and M Club? A guy that said it shouldn't have been overturned and a Michigan fan? Really?

I'll have to admit that the slow mo replay has changed my mind. He did not have control of the ball until he hit the ground and the ground pushed the ball up against his body. I agree that the official in the corner of the endzone slammed his hands on the ground, which made it appear that he was indicating the receiver landed out of bounds, but he also could have been saying that the ball hit the ground. I can now see why the play was not overturned in the booth.

What in the living fuck are you seeing there that suggests that's a td? Look at the :25 second mark. The ball clearly hits the ground. This simply cannot be disputed.

He landed in bounds, but it's irrelevant. He didn't establish possession AND it hit the ground. Seriously, you don't have a single leg to stand on here. The right call was made, and it was upheld.

That was an incomplete pass. It's not even debatable.

The nose of the ball hit the ground...there's no debate.

i'm not even watching the replay because i don't give a shit. we should have had two timeouts left there on the 3 if it weren't for that inexplicable timeout when iowa was getting ready to punt and not having a play ready when the chains were set on first down.
i wouldn't be surprised to see gardner starting next year. the staff seems fixated on making MANBALL work. tired of giving away 17 downs each game when denard throws 50 yards down field to no one when it'd be easier for him to just scramble for 30.

I forget, did Michigan throw on every single down in that final possession on the goal line? How do you not just tell Robinson to punch it in with his legs? I know time was a factor but that was their best chance to score.

Yep, they threw on every down. They never even did a roll out run/pass option. Just straight drop-backs. Insanity.
