Don't encourage him, he's already self-important, Cleveland probably helps keep him grounded. He'll hit the west coast and like everyone else, his brain will explode and he'll be intolerable. Something negative happens to people when they move west and realise they can't go any further.

I see you've never been there. Northern Arizona wouldn't be my first choice to settle, but it is very scenic.

I have indeed been to Northern AZ... not quite as big a shithole as Anywhere, Nevada, but still pretty lame.
I'll take a pass on any of the western desert places.

If you say so. I don't really play golf. I just smack a white ball around and gawk at scenery/drink mostly I drink. Haven't been to Black Lake. That's in Nipomo, right?

Really? Hey look dude, Hydrogen Peroxide is cheap and all, but when I have to use a bottle a day to keep my ankles from infection it's getting tired. What's wrong with you? You're such a bitch that looks to be Tardowned and Diego mixed into one super freak. Now go freeze your ass off in that shithole in Michigan.
The pics mvscal posted are around Pismo Beach, San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay etc. and Nipomo is a bit south. I was just there 3 weeks ago and had some good sea food. That area is where I'll end up living when the time is right.

You musn't know golf all too well. Monarch Dunes is the best course in the central coast, by far. Black Lake and it's sister course, Avila Beach, can't touch 'em. Hell, La Purisima blows 'em away... and actually, may be the best course of them all.

A casual roadhouse atmosphere that caters to grossly obese white folk looking to get their coronary on, but good luck finding a better meal. Just straight baked beans, plain bread, and the biggest fucking steaks you'll ever see. And, yes, they do (or did) have the obligatory "If you can down it, it's free!" 472-ounce monster.
The one I saw was literally shaped like a football, and nearly as large. It was oblong, with a decided rise in the center crowned by some badass salsa. Straight-up evil.
If you're ever anywhere near Solvang, Santa Maria or Pismo, you owe it to your Inner KC to make the journey to Nipomo and Jocko's Steakhouse.

Ken, I'll take your word for it. I was referred to Jocko's by an old-timey trucker dude I sold a Cadillac to back in the early '80s. This guy was Mr. Been There, Done That, and he was unrelenting in his efforts to compel me to take the drive up from Ventura to Nipomo, just so I could try Jocko's. Never tried those other places.
If I ever regain my taste buds, fuck it, one of the first things I'll do is make a pilgrimage back to Jocko's.

You're missing the point... in Cleveland, Mrs. 88 is considered HOT.
If she moves to California... 88 would leave her in about a month for something something.
It's a rather simple equation.

Take it all the way. The central coast region of California is definitely God's Country.
Plenty of God's Country east of Cleveland. Finger Lakes, SE West Virginia, the Adirondacks, New Hampshire, etc.
