Norcos with some white wine makes a nice buzz...but if you can't monitor yourself, you could go all Leaf...

Norco is basically stronger Vicodin with less acetaminophen, which is why I stated my surprise that Vicodin actually seems to have a more noticeable effect on me. With Susan it was the opposite. She built up such a tolerance to Vicodin that they became worthless to her. She had to go to the stronger Norco.

I've been having problems with numbness in my arm and was told that it was due to cervical radiculopathy - basically a pinched nerve coming from my C5-C6 vertabrae. The doctor prescribed something called gabapentin, which was originally an anti-siezure drug for epileptics but is now also used for neuropathic pain. I've been using it for about a week and a half. The instances of when the numbness comes on have decreased, but it doesn't seem like the numbness itself has decreased in intensity when it does come on. The gabapentin seems to induce a sort of mild but pleasant euphoria, though.

Ditto. I wrote way too many papers on an electric typewriter and always double spaced after a period. Not sure why the MLA changed to single spacing. IMO, double spacing makes for a cleaner look.

Has to do with typewriters' monospaced typefaces (in which an "M" and an "i" take up the same amount of space) and today's proportionally spaced fonts. Sudden Sam, although I believe it's unhealthly, I think pot should be legalized also. Alcohol is unhealthly (given the amount some drink) and it's legal. People seem to get prescription narcotics quite easily and get hooked and I think that is worse than pot.

3st. Served four years in the Navy, they were really cracking down on the marijuana back then. Nowadays it's due to the fact that I have kids, and I don't want to be the "do as I say, not as I do" type. Kids see right through that. That said, I believe marijuana should be legalized, but not so that I can get my buzz on.

As for the cancer sticks, my dad had a near-fatal heart attack when I was 7, he was only 34, and it got blamed largely on smoking. He used to smoke like a chimney before that. I made a promise right then and there that I'd never touch those, and I kept the promise.
