It’s an interesting dynamic, but for whatever reason, the two-way double doors that provide access to America's best convenience store also seems to bring out the very best in its patrons as well.

Crazy, but people will hold doors for folks halfway up the sidewalk. And rarely is such a courtesy not met without a smile or a thank you. Age, gender, color? Doesn’t seem to matter. QuikTrip brings out the best in humanity…

After working in the yard yesterday for about five hours, pruning trees, bundling branches and hauling them down to the bottom of the driveway until I could hardly make it back up the hill, a hot spa was waiting for me.

As I was luxuriating in the 102 degree water, caressed by thousands of muscle relaxing pain relieving bubbles, the thought that the entire experience was 100% powered by the sun shinging down on my yard made me smile.

He can read a teleprompter proficiently. Were he (completely) white, he would be damn near unemployable. He would suck as a trial lawyer or salesman as these occupations require the ability to think on your feet. I guess he would have made a decent enough news anchor.

He is, plain and simply, afirmative action, at it's most horrific level. Maybe his train wreck of a presidency will awaken americans to the fact that AA in general, is a pretty horrible idea.
