The stupidest thing I heard today was Lou Holtz claiming that Bell wasn't durable...meaning Lou saw that Bell didn't get 25+ carries a game last year and he assumed that was because Bell couldn't take it.

This is exactly why you're best suited to post in CDS.
Uh, OK. Whatever.
We clearly have an early favorite here for board bitch of the year.
As if that was any surprise.

If you want some comedy... turn on the PAC 12 Network and check out Stanfurd's tennis court.
The court is 75% empty for their first home game of the year against San Jose State University.
Oh yeah, furd's crushing San Jose 17-3 at halftime.

Not sure what fucking mfool meant by Boise's speed. MSU had more overall team speed, from what I saw.

Bwhahaha.... San Jose takes the opening possession of the 2nd half and pounds furd for 80 yards and TD.
10-17 san jose.

Too funny...
I'm laughing as hard as I was when furd lost to the University of California Davis at home a few years back.
San Jose 17-17

Props to Boise State. That's an opportunistic D that capitalized on some plays.
Survive and advance.

Yeah this game is embarrassing. Looks right now like Stanford will be relegated back to doormat status. Jim Harbaugh's ghost must be rolling over in his grave. We'll see I guess.
That doesn't mitigate your idiotic takes on the State vs. State game though. Nice try anyway. Bitch.
now that the entire first string is playing things are looking a little better

Seems like I already admitted as much, but you just go on repeating it until you start feeling good about yourself.
I was wondering what happened to the defense in the first three quarters but they finally started applying some pressure at the line and repeatedly stuffed the vaunted Spartan offense throughout the fourth quarter, and should get better when Shane Skov returns from jail next week.
The Luckless offense really needs some work. The line is definitely a work in progress. Some good young talent but they obviuosly miss the two All Americans they lost and looked like so many revolving doors yesterday. And Nunes, well let's just say he's no Luck. In fact he's not even a Zach WTF is his name. Hopefully he'll get better with experience.
Not much time to improve, with SC coming to town in two weeks and a trip to Washington after after an open date. If they struggle as much against Duke as they did against Silicon Valley State I'll really start to worry.

and cal lost to a nevada team that is in rebuilding mode....so much for the celebration at the renovated memorial stadium.....fucking Nevada? are you shitting me?
insofar as Boise State goes....their defense was much better than I thought it would be, their offense much less effective (although those monsters Sparty has on both sides of the line may have had something to do with that)....Le'Veon Bell is a fucking beast...
boise state needs to find some offense...michigan state does too

I think both offenses will be fine, Felix. Hell, MSU had 500 yards of offense. But four turnovers negated potential scoring drives. Maxwell threw two deep strikes that were right on the money and his receivers coughed the ball up. It was the first game under the lights with two good teams facing each other. There were some nerves and jitters. Neither team got the benefit of a tune-up vs SE Maine Tech A&M.
