Oregon's style seems too predicated on match-ups, and not a versatile one that can take on all-comers. Stanford is a team that can neutralize a high flying spread attack, but can also match up well with a smashmouth mirror image of themselves (see Rose Bowl over Wisky last year). At one point I saw three Oregon defenders bounce off Stanford's QB like a super ball. And dude isn't exactly Cam Newton when he tucks and runs. I can't imagine going against that offense in practice every day prepares you to play a physical team. They probably spend more time making shoestring "tackles" than wrapping up.

Prolly shouldn't be making fun of my own team but some of the camera shots from behind the Stanford OL lined up so tightly packed, I couldn't help but be reminded of this:
