Things could be worse... you could be a Cal fan.

The "average" BAC is around 0.15 for the students tested.
Hmmm, Seems just about every student/fan meets the "super-drunk" standard.
Sounds about right... this
has been a fun season.

Interesting....Al Borges used to be the guy they brought in to "spice up" an offense....He seemed to be better than average when he was here; calling plays to fit the talent positions, making adjustments to various defenses, etc...Kinda kept Buffet Bob Toledo going for awhile until things went south - (post Borges)....Then again, if you have Cade McNown running the plays you call, you would tend to look rather creative...without the horses dynamic play calling doesn't look so dynamic. Mazzone out here is getting hammered (kinda deservedly so) for his shit playcalling vs. Stanford & Oregon...maybe their defenses had something to do with it but still, how many times can you call zone read runs parallel to the LOS that all result in loss of yards before you figure out it ain't working....Still, I'd trade Mazzone for Borges straight up...

Maybe his style doesn't lend itself as well to the Three Yards and a Cloud Of Punts Conference. Big slow cornfed fuckers who bench press semi trucks have different skillsets.

The Pac's version of Three Yards and a Cloud of Punts just took Oregimmick behind the woodshed, so pipe down, guy. Besides, there's only two or three teams left in the Big Ten that run a traditional pro-style, and all three mix in spread elements. Dins, I know every day you wake up in a confused, drunken stupor, but this isn't 1972 anymore. But... I did guffaw at your quip, so well done.
Re: Borges. It seems like the OC is always the scapegoat for a frustrated fan base. Not suggesting Borges is a schematic wizard by any means but his O didn't struggle too much to move the ball and score points before Michigan State's front 7 devoured them and left the carcass for Nebraska to pick clean. When your o-line can't block the wind, then you're pretty hampered in the play-calling department. I know more Michigan fans are screaming from the mountaintops for more screens, slants, short passes, etc., but I just don't think Pickalicious has the accuracy necessary to methodically dink and dunk his way down the field with DEs and LBs making a free and clear beeline for him. And your RB's inability to advance the ball past the LOS further compounds the problem.
I think the issue is more player development than game day play-calling. If you can teach fundamentals and technique then play calling magically becomes a looooooot easier.

While you're at it, hire Moving Sale to defend you in court, hire Spray as your dietician, Screwey to find you dates, and me to sponsor your 12 step program.

You remind me of these Kentucky fans who still think Tom Izzo wants to slow the game down to a snail's pace even though they've been running these mini NBA teams out of the gym for several years now.
