You know that thing called "settings". You really should be friends with that.

You are the only one using the term wealth, jealous much?
You can have your "intellectually superior" life, we want no part of it.

No shit. I disabled notifications on my droid right after I got it. Now I manually check for email on my phone. Seriously, if there was one ounce of intellectual curiosity in the average American the world would be so much better.

The rigors of simple phone operation is already kicking his ass. Your request may be a little high-level for him.

Remember, he even struggles with his own personal mantra:
Step 1 - Dip mop in bucket.
Step 2 - Swipe jizz.
Step 3 - Rinse and repeat.

Grasping that may make some of those hundreds of emails more pleasant to read.

I laugh my ass off at iphone users every time one come in to the salon begging for a phone charger because their "top of the line" pos iphone can't hold a charge longer than a couple of hours because they can't disable all those apps which eat all their battery & data limits in no time at all
Apple have the most cheaply made easily busted hardware of any smartphone or tablet yet they smash more easily especially their screens than any other phone or tablet out there, but are the most expensive to buy or to fix, drop your iphone once & the screen shatters & costs you $300 to replace on the new 5S, I have dropped my Sony Xperia Z1 a number of times & not a mark on it & my battery lasts at least 2 days before it needs charging & as an added bonus it is waterproof so if it falls in a glass of beer on a big night out I can just wipe it off & it will still be working perfectly, unlike that poor iphone smuck next to me who had to buy a new phone when his got wet
