We lost this guy this morning. I was hunting in east Texas when the OL called and said he woke her up this morning to go outside and that is where laid down one final time. Best dog I ever had.

Don't pet her....in fact, don't even look at her. Just go away unless you have treats.

Cats don't have "owners" or "masters" -- they have "staff."

They all have different personalities. Very few cats are genuine assholes, though. They simply don't suffer fools gladly. They aren't dogs so don't try to treat them like your snuggly, tummy rub knoogy buddy and you'll be all right.

I have a cat from hell. This is a screenshot from a snapchat my roommate sent in which the fucker attacked the carpet and pulled it all up and shredded it.
Pm: Trev - my ex even re-painted the room in feb and still couldn't be bothered to do baseboards :/

You need to get her a scratching post and play with her at least 15-20 minutes a day. They don't do shit like that unless they're bored.

I took care of my neighbors cat all summer a few years back. Sweet girl, or so I thought. She was friendly, lovable, free-spirit. I would feed her daily and put her in every night so she wouldn't get eaten by a coyote. One night she didn't come home. I went over there several times, until the wee hours of the morning, no cat. I worried and worried. She finally came home the next night. Whew, I didn't have to tell my neighbors their cat was missing. All was well. A few days later, she came over to my front yard to see me and get petted. Then she pee-d on my house. Right in front of me. What??????
By the way, she's now dead. Someone called and said she was hit by a car.

He has two scratching posts plus toys.
I was gone for the weekend partying in Bakersfield with Tbag and porter but still. My roommate was there but hungover so hiding in his room. The cat has destroyed 3 curtains too and the rod plus my screen door. I'm taking him Thursday for kitty Xanax. Or his pot license card thing.

He's fixed, right? Oh and
you have to play with him. Get one of those feathery wand toys and wear him out jumping up and down.

I play with him until he bites :) he has five or six wands I stick in various household locations, balls, nice, feathers, beds, etc. He's just a dick. I'm not a pet person anyway but my son wanted a damned car and he was cute little rescue kitten last year. And grew into a demon. The divorce is to blame. Ha ha
Oh and I have two fire belly toads. I'm about to drop them off at my ex's house though.

I've been pwned by cats since I was a kid. About 15 years ago I thought I was done with them. Then my daughter asks if we can adopt this kitten from a neighbor. I told her no, but she brought the damn thing home anyway. It was an all white cat (save the Whitey jokes) of which I had never been had, so I relented.
15 years later, my daughter is long since moved out on her own but I'm still stuck with this damn cat who thinks she owns the joint.
This cat has seen many a dog come and go. She tolerates their existence unless they are foolish enough to get up in her face. Which isn't often because she'll slap the shit out of them and they know it.

A few days ago I found this guy huddled in a doorway of a commercial building just trying to stay warm. I normally wouldn't do this but it was about -3 degrees outside so I took him in. Got him checked out and decided to keep him. Very well behaved. He just likes to eat and chill.

My sister saddled my parents with a 20 year old desert tortoise when she moved out. He has at least 30-40 years left in him I'm would guess.
