Way to hang in there, Wolfie. Only the good die young.
Just think, if a similar thread were started by YOU... I'm guessing there wouldn't be the same level of support for your sorry ass.Moving Sale wrote:pffffft
Pfffft! A similar thread for You I wonder what kind of support you'd get.Atomic Punk wrote:Just think, if a similar thread were started by YOU... I'm guessing there wouldn't be the same level of support for your sorry ass.Moving Sale wrote:pffffft
I just wanted to tell you good luck. We're all counting on you.Wolfman wrote:After bouts of really bad fatigue, even with the simplest of tasks, I finally capitulated and made an appointment to see a doctor this past Monday. After seeing my EEG they shipped me to the emergency room at Lee Memorial Health Park for observation. On Wednesday I had an echocardiogram that gave them all a further look. Thursday I had heart catheterization and they were able to see my problems up close and ugly. They wanted to do open heart surgery on Friday, but by this time I needed a break to wrap my head around what was happening.
I came home yesterday and am under home health care for now till my operation scheduled for this Thursday. Looks like I hit a trifecta. I have an 80% blockage in my #! coronary artery, and problems with both my aortic valve and mitral valve. If you remember your high school biology, you have some idea of what is what. The surgery should fix all 3 issues with a bypass, valve replacement, and another procedure.
Hope to be back home a week after the operation. Wish me luck. :)
