Getting rid of NYC would plunge the rest of NY info a catastrophic economic shitstorm. Do you have any idea how much money goes into NYS coffers because of the stock exchanges? Income taxes paid by NYC residents. Sales taxes?

The rest of NYS already is in a decades old economic shitstorm. Freeing them from the downstate libs might possibly allow th to change this

After after losing 60% of the tax base and all the Wall Street money you're saying that will be an improvement?

Buffalo's only saving grace is that everybody I've ever met from Buffalo has been a really decent person. As long as they are not watching the Bills fail in person, they are almost as polite as Canadians. ALMOST.

Ok...well how about the definition of criminally negligent manslaughter? The suspect is in restraints, yes? He is complaining that he can't breathe, yes? Is there any reason why the officers couldn't simply roll the fat fuck over or let him sit up? Was he going to hop up and scamper away in a cloud of loose cigarettes?

Does this one go in the juiced up badge monkey file?

judging from the video, i would say no. the cops did what they had to do to take him down. it is not their fault that dude had one foot in the grave, one on a banana peel. laying on his side is not likely any more stressful than sitting up. i do wonder about the EMT response. the video shows them take a pulse, but nothing else. maybe he had a decent pulse at that time and figured he needed to further attention.

Oops, wrong answer.
No such thing in NY.
You have two choices.

§ 125.10 Criminally negligent homicide.
A person is guilty of criminally negligent homicide when, with
criminal negligence, he causes the death of another person.
Criminally negligent homicide is a class E felony.

Or

§ 125.15 Manslaughter in the second degree.
A person is guilty of manslaughter in the second degree when:
1. He recklessly causes the death of another person....
Manslaughter in the second degree is a class C felony.

You are welcome.

Now I'm curious to know how things work down on Sam's plantation. What happens if you put your TV up for sale on Craigslist :?:

Do the cops come :?

It is illegal to sell loose cigs. If you could every bar in NYS would be picking up cartons from the Rez and breaking out loose cigs for sale. No tax stamp, not legal.

So loose cigs are Indian cigs, but you'd be demonising Indians with the title so it's the former. I buy them like that. Thought loose cigs was a guy buying a pack and selling a cig to someone

See, dude had the right idea, just a bad application of said idea. Instead of selling the cigarettes, he should have given them away and left out a tip jar. No intent to solicit. Easy peasy, lemon squeezey. :bode:

Considering the innocent broker of cigarettes had the misfortune of encountering an officer with a history of perversion and sadistic behaviour (settled out of court) it's unfortunate for him

That would work in some places, but not likely in the hood. He would simply get picked clean

Not necessarily Indian cigs. Though you get your best profits by going to a Rez or going south. Loosies are illegal even if you bought a pack and started selling. No tax stamp means no legal sale.

And another piece of shit with a badge and history of civil rights abuses is still walking the street. Ordinarily I would call you a dumbfuck right now but that would be an insult to fucks who are dumb.
