LS, The stench was from some industrial facility. Later I learned Laurel has a paper mill. Just the worst smell ever, and I used to drop road kill off at a processor back in the day.

I'm with you on the papermill smell. Camus Washington smells very much bad.

I remember my first drive up I-95 through Georgia and S Carolina. My initial thought was, are we already in New Jersey? Holly fukking shit! Paper mill stench has to be about the worst fukking thing evah.
