Technically, either works in this case, but, yeah, sight is what I meant.
At least I got the punctuatin' rite.

That's cool, it was a bad movie.

No, never saw that movie. If I want to watch bad cinema, I'll dial up "The Terror of Tinytown".

Rough rides are also called "nickel rides," and are typically given to suspects who flee on foot and force the officers to chase them. They're not unique to B'more and have been used by various PDs for years. I especially like the term
foot tax to characterize the reason for their being issued.

Well, Judge Dredd. If you had seen it or knew the character, it would make sense...kinda.
Don't bother, it's a bad movie, at least the Stallone version. Sandra Bullock was pretty hot in that tight, black leather though.

Applying the concept to our board, I can think of a handful (at least) of posters who should be scroll taxed.

Unfortunately, poptart's statement is likely true as well as rack worthy.
That woman that bitch slapped her wannabe gangster son has 6 kids, multiple fathers. Rack the hell out of her for trying to steer her son away from that bullshit, but she is fighting a losing battle. And all the fukking gubmint programs in the world won't fix it.
Memo to black dude:
Find yourself a good woman. Marry her and fukking hang around afterwards. Raise your own fukking chillins. And when your 15 year old punk boy steps out of line, pound him like a tent stake.
Memo to gubmint:
Stop trying to fill the shoes of deadbeat dad.
One more memo to gubmint:
Stop regulating companies to death. Maybe, just maybe some of them will come back to places like B'more and the D and provide decent jobs for the poor fukks that live there. The sad fact is that despite big improvements in opportunities for balcks over the last 60 years, typical 18 year old balck city kid in 1955 had a much brighter future than typical balck city kid in 2015. That kid likely lived with his dad and could get a decent yob out of high school in the local factory. Those jobs are gone and so is daddy. He has been replaced by uncle sugar. But, I guess it is OK, so long as we have cheap flatscreens and iphones.

I can see your serious about this, but that would require the majority of black men in the inner cities take

Most of the decent-paying blue collar jobs have been off-shored. It's not the government regulations. It's the trade agreements we've entered into.

It is all of the above, goobs.
I am fine with some protectionist legislation, but it won't fix the problem by itself.
We should trade openly with our friends, primarily the euros and a few asian countries. We should not with countries like China that go out of their way to fukk us in various ways.
Would the price of nikes and iphones go up? Yeah, some, but I don't believe it would be as much as some might think. It wouldn't be that much at all if companies didn't have the regulatory big balck cock of government rammed as far up its arse as it currently is. Same goes for big labor.

No more regulations than other day surgery centers. Just making them all play by the same rules.

the cops mistake was in not securing him in the back of the paddy wagon.....I've read reports that another person in the back of the van said Grey was throwing himself around and when the cops would turn a corner, Grey would exaggerate the motion and hurtle himself into the side of the van.....if found to be true, I don't think the cops should be charged with murder or manslaughter, but all should be terminated for being stupid......

I don't know, but more importantly
YOU DON'T KNOW EITHER
if he was trying to get himself messed up so he could claim police violence then file a police brutality suit against the city of Baltimore, he could have thrown himself against the van wall at the wrong angle and broken his own neck very easily....but we won't know what happened until the facts of the case come to light.....

The first fact is that Baltimore PD has a long and thoroughly documented history of placing cuffed and shackled suspects into the van unsecured and then driving erratically with the intention of causing bodily injury.
The second fact is that Gray shouldn't have been in the van in the first place as they have already determined that there was no probable cause for arrest.
The third fact is that you love cop cock up your ass.

Caught another cop lying on stand last Tuesday. Said he smelled pot in my client's car. On cross he admitted that all he found was some "loose" pot on the floor. Under further, withering, cross he admitted he didn't even know the difference between the odor of growing, dried, burning or burnt pot. Of course the judge found some other reason to deny the suppression motion.... And this is with ALL white people involved.

no the only thing I've read is a bunch of psycho assholes calling for these cops heads without knowing any of the facts.....if the cops are guilty, then they should be put away for life.....but hows about we let justice take its course and give the cops the same treatment we'd give anybody.....you know, that whole
"innocent until proven guilty" law we live with.....yeah I know it's pretty tedious, but wait til you've heard all the facts before passing judgement.....

And that's an important factor in this case. Suspects commonly ingest the evidence of their crimes to avoid arrest. It's very possible that Freddie did this, suffered seizures in the van (the other prisoner in the van heard him flopping around), and broke his neck in the process.

cops! Sure, they might not convict these guys (hottie badass mulatto DA sitting on our collective face), but there could still be another riot, right? Isn't what all of this glaring incompetence is about? Building up a necessary response?
