Foolix,
Mvscal was talking about KC Scott (not Barry) in that quote you posted.
In the question and answer portion of the presentation, Mead further explains to board members how Jade Helm, a new exercise he describes as also being developed by US Special Operations General Charles T. Cleveland, will now be conducted within the United States annually.
And we also have some of our inter-agency partners, such as the FBI and the DEA, and some of the other agencies assisting us and working with us in the exercise.
Further, Mead points out that the FBI and DEA will be involved in “questioning” individuals.
Annually?
The FBI?
The DEA?
Questioning people?
This is an overseas training exercise?
Oh... okay?
You're good with this, Foolix?
Yeah, good ol' "You can keep your doctor" Barry says it's all just fine.

You have refuted nothing. Jade Helm is a joint law enforcement-military training exercise. They are training to implement martial law and over a large portion of the country at that. That isn't "paranoia." It's a simple, irrefutable fact.
The regular army is prohibited by law from participating in domestic law enforcement activities. Also a simple, irrefutable fact nor does the army actively train for missions it does not anticipate executing. Again...FACT.
It's not "dangerous" or "lunacy" or "paranoid" to question why the armed forces are training for a mission they prohibited by law from executing in the real world.
My concerns and my questions are grounded in fact. Your denials are drowned in emotion and hyperbole and utterly devoid of any factual basis whatsoever.

Attributing "conspiracy" takes to us.
Flying off the walls in here, saying those were our takes, when we said no such thing.
Mvscal (and I) said that Jade Helm will be a TRAINING exercise for implementation of martial law.
1) Training
2) Real thing
Can you understand the difference between the two?
Mvscal and I are not dealing in conspiracy.
We're dealing with what is REAL in front of everyone's face.
So again, do you somehow deny the REALITY that Jade Helm is a TRAINING exercise for martial law implementation?

Describe a scenario in the US that you think would be the catalyst for Martial Law to be imposed
How long would it last?
What would be the end goal?
and what is your timetable for this event to occur?
First, I asked you twice now if you acknowledge that Jade Helm is a training for implementation of Martial Law.
You didn't answer either time, so my assumption is that you
do acknowledge that.
This training for Martial Law implementation alone is unacceptable, and it means that none of your questions need be answered.
Why should citizens
not balk when it's military (yes, it is the PEOPLE's military) decides it's going to have a massive training operation over multiple states, in civilian territory, involving multiple agencies -- in which implementation of Martial Law is part of the training?
Why is this going on?
As mvscal accurately noted, the military does training for things they are assuming they are going to -----> DO.
This is not a warm and fuzzy thing.
So your questions...
I don't have the answers.
I could speculate, and I DO have some thoughts about what the higher-ups have in mind here, but as I said, it doesn't really matters.
What matters now is that this training is planned to take place, and it's not acceptable.
Just the very fact that OUR military wants to do this is reason enough to say,
"No thanks. Take it elsewhere."
I'm not in Tejas and I'm not up to speed on Gov. Abbott's response.
So I can't say whether I agree or disagree with what he's doing.
But I can say with certainty that I disagree with what the military is doing.

Yes, it is training in implementing martial law. That's why the FBI and DEA among others are involved. They certainly aren't required for local coordination. Sorry you're too stupid to figure that out for yourself.

There is SO much wrong with Jade Helm -- and KC Scott, that it boggles the mind.
Hardly know where to begin.
Among the planned exercises, soldiers will try to operate undetected amongst civilian populations in some towns and cities where residents will be advised to report any suspicious activity they notice as a means of testing the military's effectiveness, said county law enforcement officials who had been briefed by the Army.
"They're going to set up cells of people and test how well they're able to move around without getting too noticed in the community," said Roy Boyd, chief deputy with the Victoria County Sheriff's Office. "They're testing their abilities to basically blend in with the local environment and not stand out and blow their cover."
http://www.chron.com/news/article/Cover ... 157685.php
They are training "not to stand out," and yet if this is training for a middle east country(s), by virtue of their ethnicity
alone, they are bound to stand out.
Right? lol
They are training to blend in -----> IN AMERICA.
They are training to quietly infiltrate American civilian communities, they will have overhead craft around (helicopters), and they are armed (with blanks  ) in this exercise.
Nothing to see here, folks.
Just a lot of paranoia.
This is just one item.
There is a laundry list of problems with what is going on here.

Fucking uncle on this thread.
The head of Joint base San Antonio said this is an excercise to prepare our forces in the ways of martial law.
He followed that up by saying that it was not something they envisioned happening on US soil, but it is far easier to practice such things here than it is in say Bumfuckganistan.
Both of sides in this thread have nuggets of truth and a shit ton of heels dug in.

I was not commenting on the possibility that this exercise is in preparation for implementation of martial law. I was giving you a scenario in the U.S. that I thought would be a catalyst for implementation of martial law. Every indicator points towards the Federal gov (that would be the national government and the state government) taking more power. Do YOU have any indicators that show there is an end point before martial law?
